Good and attentive service staff. Prefer the pork than the beef and chicken. The broth was tasty but we felt thirsty after our meal in late evening.

Helpful service staff. It was New Years eve and they didn't rush us when we passed the 80mins time limit. However, quite a limited spread of food choices.

The service and food was okay. Have topped up for premium but some of the items is not available such as the scallops and mussels.

Services rendered are okay Staffs are helpful and quick to respond Food is alright and the fresh selections are well picked and really fresh and clean Music being played are predominantly Korean pop songs although it is supposedly a Japanese restaurant, but this is not a big deal

Great value for money. Healthy food, great fun cooking it yourself and vibrant ambiance. Don’t expect sophistication though, it’s just hotpot Japanese style. But good nonetheless!

The ambiance and the variety of vegetables about 5 years ago was much better than now. The meats and soups provided is still the same.

Dinner for the 2nd time. The beef was still too stiff. Hard to chew. Ended the dinner with an awful jaw ache. Limited food choices. Other than that, ok.

Suka-Ya is not fine dining, but delivers on its promise of good quality and fresh all-you-can-eat sukiyaki and shabu shabu. And the price is hard to beat: 50 SGD for 2 people including various thinly sliced meats, hot tea and icecream as desert. We'll be back for sure!

The food selections are limited and food quality, mediocre. Other outlets are much better. The saving grace is the friendliness of the staff and their helpfulness.

It will better if the waiter more attentive to customer needs since there are not much customers during that hours. Serving will a smile will be more appreciated

was there in a big group of 16 paxs, only 1 waitress and 1 manager to server entire outlet. there were other patrons as well. slow services

We were refused a booth seat (2 of us) as we were told that's reserved for 4 pax. However, they allowed a couple to sit at the booth seat RIGHT AFTER they rejected our request! When we questioned them, they just acted blur. Excuse me! Please be consistent. Nonetheless, we have enjoyed the food. Service? Not so much.

Value for money with lunch promotion and student offer for the kids. But variety is limited and slow service ( there was only 1 staff apart from the manager to take orders for the meat).

Food is good. Service is relatively slow though due to insufficient staff. Overall, still acceptable as food is good. Website said restaurant at 3rd floor but it is at 2nd floor.

The person is charge was attentive but I was a little taken aback when he said,"your time is up." for the lunch buffet promo. I actually wanted the normal promo, not the one-for-one but luckily I was about to finish my meal anyway. Probably they could have said it in a better way. I thought I was about to face judgement day. Hahaha. Overall - Good experience.

Food was good but would be good if they top up the empty trays frequently especially on a weekend. Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall experience was good.

Great service given we are there on Sat night which is busiest time. Although, not worth to top up for the beef upgrade. Just stick to the normal buffet set.

Was seated early, however disappointed no more mala soup @ 645 pm.... N ran out of eggs by 730 pm.... Interesting that the outlet is not stocked for weekend crowd. Nonetheless, server were nice and apologetic

Disappointed and will not go to that Outlet again. Chilli out of stock. The waitress had rudely and insisted on knowing where we have booked and caused me to wonder if this booking is effective even though i have called to ensure booking. Poor service and attitude from Cashier, felt unwelcoming.

Economical buffet with fresh food and reasonable variety. My Family loved it. Will definitely visit the restaurant again and will recommend it to friends and colleagues.

Booked a reservation for 6.30pm, but when arrived our group was asked to wait at least 20mins as they had taken in a last minute slot that ate into our original timing. No calls or anything to confirm or ask if we are able to accommodate such timing. As we were a group of 13, it was also difficult space wise to accommodate all into one table hence we were split into 8 and 5. Food was just ok and the soup took awhile to get heated. Overall experience towards the end was ok once we have all settled down, but i wouldn't recommend this place for a large group.

Service is almost non existence despite the quiet lunch hour and restaurant wasnt full. We had to request for soup ladle which should be quite a standard cutleries considering its a steamboat. Hard to get attention of waitress
