About Shahi Kitchen

Singapore’s Little India is the proud home of a range of great Indian eateries. What sets Bukit Timah Street’s Shahi Kitchen apart is its focus on serving only food from the country’s north, focusing on great food and drinks from the region. There’s classic favourites as well as innovative takes on usual dishes, enough to keep diners returning again and again for dishes which serve to demonstrate the complexity and subtlety in Indian food.

More about Shahi Kitchen, Singapore

The team behind Singapore’s Shahi Kitchen are a closely-knit, family-owned and operated group that have worked hard to earn their reputation for exceptional service, fine food and affordable drinks in Little India. With eight years experience and counting at the top of their game, the team offer unparalleled food and service from their smart premises on Bukit Timah Road. There’s great north Indian food for all palates here, and curry novices should consult the staff to navigate the comprehensive menu.

Given their name, it’s not surprising that Shahi Kitchen, Bukit Timah Road’s premier Indian restaurant, prides itself on its classic specials: delicate kebabs, complex and subtle malai tikka, tandoori prawns, ever popular butter chicken and dum biryani. These dishes encapsulate the philosophy behind so much of what makes Shahi so special – simple food, done well and served with a side of understatement. Mutton and chicken dum Briyani were excellent! Salt lassi with spices was very tasty. On the whole, the vegetable dishes and meats were good! Great and satisfying meal!
