Seated at the alfresco area of Sear, 45 levels above ground, we were definitely dining with an amazing backdrop of the CBD with its setting sun. The excellent wagyu tri-tip we savoured as a result of their promotion was tender, juicy and packed with so much flavour! Ordered an accompaniment of the creamed spinach as well which was full-bodied and delicious. Going to miss then being located at SLT since they'll be moving out but cant wait to visit them at their new location wherever that may be!

Quick lunch in the financial district - good burger (but a little " messy"), nice old-world masculine steakhouse decor and ambience, prompt service, which was reasonably pleasant..

Food was decent, nothing unpleasant but nothing special either. View was good

We ordered the seafood appetiser platter for 2 which was great! Additionally, we also ordered the tasting size of 3 steak? Which was ok... alittle disappointing with the quality. It wasnt exactly amazing, just normal. On top of that, I wish there were some more interaction between the service staff and the guests. I don’t even know what I was having! No introduction of what cut or style of steak was which. The level of service staff can do better with more observation and situation awareness.. I was seated indoors facing the outdoor seating area. I came across a woman(seated outdoor) trying to get the attention of the service staff by waving her hands frantically almost 4 times. They only attended to her after I told them that the lady needed some help. I think SEAR can consider stationing one of its server outdoors? So that the outdoor patrons can have a better service experience.

Quality of the pricier steaks is definitely good. Everything else is just average

Not a cosy place - too dark for a steak house. One of the side dishes arrived after the main course - dessert time. The French fries had a very “heavy”/“reused oil” smell. Wine list not well served.

Completely overpriced so-called ‘5 course NYE VIP Dinner’ given the poor quality of food, service and ambience - e.g. imagine cleaning utensils such as mops and buckets standing around in clear eyesight of the dining area. On all levels a complete disappointment. Would never further recommend nor set foot there again myself.

Lunch set at sgd39 was good value. Ordered a medium rare steak which was done just right. Portions looked a bit small at first, but the 3 courses were enough without giving food coma

Starter foie gras was the only dish that wad good. Main course was small with one strand of carrot side and both ordered medium rare but one came medium well. Can be better with a great place like this.

Staff not attentive enough. Has to keep asking for more water refill. Draught beer was stale. Steak was not juicy although ordered medium rare.

Portion of good just nice. Soup very good. Steak is perfect Cheesecake melt in the mouth.
