Ristorante Amarone

I have been at this restaurant twice and never been disappointed. The food is really good, same goes for the service. They have a great selections of wines and champagne too. I will be back for more.

The food was excellent and the service out of this world. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel very special. I would definately recommend this restaurant for anybody looking for a special night out.

A serene environment with good food - ideal for a corporate lunch with lots of talking. Service is impeccable, and portions surprisingly large. Set lunch of $42 was good value.

Pasta tasted average but service was excellent. Desserts were nicely plated and delicious. Overall a pleasant experience but would not think of returning here for the mains.

The ambience at this resturant is lovely however the food leaves something to be desired . Service is fast . Too fast at times with one course following another swiftly . When I asked for extra tomatoe sauce with my chicken dish I was given warmed up ketchup not the original tomatoe sauce that came with the dish. Overall would say if you want to go to pleasantly decorated resturant this is the place.

Excellent food. Seafood pasta was fresh and very flavourful. Dessert Tiramisu was satisfying end to the meal. Service was warm and never intrusive. Recommended for a quiet night out in the area.

Amarone has always been a favourite business lunch restaurant for its location, good food and awesome service. Would definitely be back for another enjoyable lunch!

Service is great, very attentive restaurant. Price is good in terms of fine dining level. Food portion is small, the mains are portion for one person not really for sharing.

Very convenient and it's walking distance from Tanjong Pagar mrt. Nice ambience and great service from their staff! Will go back again for their burrata and desserts.

This restaurant is a Lovely place for working lunch. Seafood pasta was yummy ... I'll not try the shrimp Ravioli again though.

Wonderful meal. Pasta is very tasty, baked Chicken is a tad dry. Complimentary bread is excellent! Used entertainer app, so it's 50% off main course. Very worth it.

The food was average, decent but not value for money if not for the entertainer app which has 1-for-1. Have had much better Italian food.

The restaurant has excellent service, waiters are top notch as they are very helpful and prompt in serving guests. Food is brilliant too as the food we ordered had really good blend of flavors. Price may be on the high end but it is certainly worth every cent! Definite recommendation for those who wish to celebrate a special occasion.

Food and service very good. Only complaint, the coffee was served while we were still eating dessert. Chef came and chatted with us, which was nice.

Nice ambience to celebrate for occasion! Great service from the waiters, very attentive! The lobster spaghetti is excellent, recommended to order. A birthday card and cake was served complimentary from the restaurant which is very thoughtful.

Always had an enjoyable meal at Ristorante Amarone. Be it its friendly service and good food, also it's convenient location to our office. It's just across the road!

This a reliable go-to place for a business lunch, when you want to actually be able to have a conversation. Quality is assured and service is great.

I had a very pleasant dining experience with my boyfriend. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the ambience was lovely and the food was delicious. I had the seafood risotto which was very nicely done. My favourite part was dessert, which was italian meringue with passionfruit sorbet and mixed berries. And of course, my boyfriend's company :)

Food are not bad (portion a bit small), But I like the Chill environment a lot, as well as friendly and professional crew. Overall are great experience.

Ambience was nice, but the food was so so. Risotto was not al dente at all. Was way too mushy. Tagliatelle was hard, and not al dente in a supple way. Not enough flavour from the duck ragout. Would've loved a lot more flavour.

They are professionl and serve us very warmly! They have some Italian foods that taste really great (like the boiled mussels), although those grilled seafoods are quite boring...

This is one of the Restaurant that I normally bring my clients for lunch. Foods are delicious, staff are friendly and helpful. Reservation is needed.

We spent an enjoyable anniversary there! The staff are so nice with good services. The food are yummy and served in perfect timing. A great place where I will visit again!

Nice cosy restaurant a great celling. We were in a group of 6. Inform the service staff that we wish to try more dishes in smaller portions. We had fried calamari & seafood prawns, Risotto, Soup, Burrata Pugliese salad & dessert was good.. For main we had seafood & 2kg Tomahawk Steak with a bottle of Red wine. I have tried Tomahawk from Bedrock & Bistecca Tuscan which were supposed to be the best. But i must say the Tomahawk at Amorane was great as well. Service staff was attentive and welcoming. We would have preferred a different table as seated just in front of the wine cabinet which was a little distracting. If not for an European customer making a fuss on services for whatever reason, it would have been a great night. Left a small tip. Am thinking of booking a table for 6 pax again on 14/12/15.

Had Lobster Linguine which was superb and the Braised Beef Cheeks was full of flavours. Service was prompt and polite. Will be back to try other dishes.

Pasta was perfectly al dente. (I hate it when other places over cook and they become soft.) Good ambience too. Lovely lighting and quiet enough for a conversation.

The food was very good. All the ingredients were very fresh. The selection of wine was limited but was impressive. Overall, it was a very good outing

Good food with cosy ambience. Ordered the fried calamari and prawns for starters, and the seafood risotto and beef cheeks for the mains. The food arrived shortly after ordering. The calamari and prawns were succulent, with a tasty arrabiata dip that was not overpowering. The risotto was done just right, with the right amount of bite, and a generous serving of seafood. The beef cheeks were the best; simply melts in the mouth. The dessert of the day was passion fruit sorbet on a bed of whipped cream, crushed meringues and sliced almonds. The medley of flavours from the dessert ingredients blended nicely together to end the meal on a satisfying note. The service staff were attentive and made diners feel at home. Will definitely return to eat at Amarone.

Excellent food and service. It was my birthday and we had cake after we finished our meal and they gave candle and didn't charge extra for cake cutting either

Booking tool from Quandoo is easy to use. It was lunch time and was looking for a place not so crowded when Amarone came to mind. Lunch set menu avaialble. Friendly & attentive staffs make my lunch with my boss a pleasure. Food is good too. I'd recommend anyone to dine with Amarone.

Food was ok, service was good, but we were given a noisy corner even though we had asked for a quiet table for our important lunch.

Had dinner here with my family to celebrate my daughter's graduation on Sunday - I think we found a gem of a restaurant - tucked in a corner at Capital Tower! We had the Calamari and Burrata as starters - both very good recommendations of the staff there! Really liked the way they were prepared - the Calamari was coated with a special batter that had milk in it and fried till crispy and fluffy. The Burrata was done in a special way with the celery pumped with gas to give it body! These were followed by 2 Beef Cheeks, 1 Roast Lamb, 1 Sea Bass and 1 Lobster Pasta (you may refer to their website to see the menu for the full names) as mains. Our votes would go to the Beef Cheek (which have been braised for 36 hours until they are super tender and then doused with a special wine sauce), and the Roast Lamb - which was done just right and also very tender. Desserts included Tiramisu (how not to order this in an Italian restaurant?) and their 'deconstructed' Lemon Meringue Tart (it's a bit hard to describe - so you have to go try to understand). No regrets! Really good quality stuff here! All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening with excellent food, and excellent staff - special mention here for Shawn - who was always attentive and gave very good recommendations, plus some side entertainment with his humour :) Thanks Shawn! You brought our dining experience one notch up! Will certainly recommend this restaurant for a memorable celebration!
