There were mosquitoes buzzing around us as we sat down for our meal. The waiter brought us insecticide and insect repellent. Honestly, I would rather that insecticide was sprayed before the dinner service starts 'cos I am not keen to have my food peppered with insecticide. Insect repellent was, however, a welcome gesture.

When we arrived at the restaurant we were told that they were overbooked. We didn't even get in.

I did not dine as the tables and chairs are the bar top kind which is uncomfortable for dining , sorry

My friends and I had a gathering at this cosy place a few weeks back. We especially love the char grilled beef short rib! It was super tender and soft. Between 4 of us, we also had the duck salad, seasonal greens, rice paper roll with grilled snapper and bun Cha (marinated grilled pork). Everything was well done! The only little disappointment was that they ran out of a few items that we wanted to order initially, but everything else turned out surprisingly yummy and tasty.

Food-wise it was perfect even if we may have ordered too much (ended with takeaway). We stayed on the outside terrace to benefit from the cool temperatures. Waiters were helpful and efficient. The only complaint would be on the tables with their gaz cooking system which are intruding when you have long legs. Not very practical.

The place is a bit too dim and it will be good if they can clear the clutters stacked onto the wall as their wall is painted with Vietnam images.
