The restaurant is nice and the staff friendly. I had the Eggs Ben, the Hollandaise were a bit buttery but overall the dish was tasty.

We went there just for the beef wellington! Overall it was good and tasted well. We also ordered a brunch platter and two cups of flat white. The place is cozy and almost full. It is a good place for weekend hangout.

Good food, good service, good music, relaxed people. The restaurant is situated in a nice and authentic neighbourhood. Do a stroll in the Joo Chiat Road and surrounding after your meal.

Great way to have brunch and coffee with very hospitable hosts. The good selection of power juices also have you that kick u need to start your day. The French toast with mixed berries was a good sharing plate to end off a nice savoury brunch.

Cute little brunch spot in the east coast. Seemed quite busy so do be sure to make a reservation in over to secure a seat. Bloody Mary was yum!

good food, service with a smile; pity about the ongoing construction works which affected the ambience. Overall experience, a thumbs up - would head back again :)

The beef burger was bland. Beef wellington was tasty but lack finesse on the crust, looked pretty messy on a plate. The place is empty for weeknight dinners!

Easily the best brunch spot on the east coast! The food is delicious, the owners are lovely, and the ambience is perfect for a relaxing afternoon bite.

Food was great and not overly pricey. One of the few places that serve Beef Wellington and the portion was just nice. Service staff was attentive.

Owner was rude and uptight, very shocking. When my friend arrived 10mins early (before reservation time), he hounded him in an impolite manner as to whether the rest would show up.. When the next friend arrived 10-15mins later, he hounded both of them again as to where the rest of us were and asked them to check that we would show up. When i arrived another 5 mins later, and another friend then arrived after me, he hounded all three of us as to whether or not we were sure our friends would show up. When we said FOR SURE, he scorned us and said are u really sure as it is already running past the reservation time. He mocked we are running on singaporean time, which is not what the restaurant is running on. he claimed his restaurant runs on GMT. this is not customer friendly at all and if he has issues with Singaporean time, maybe he should not be in Sg. lastly if he was running on GMT, then we were all technically early.

Service was terrible, our food was slow and my medium rare steak was served 'well-done'. Furthermore, the quality of the food is just terrible and expensive.

I went there with some friends for dinner. The service was good and the food was really tasty: a mix of traditional British pub food with some new ideas such as the avocado scotch egg. It was an enjoyable evening.

Excellent service and food was above ordinary. I didnt enjoy the scone, although it was hot and fresh it was overdone and hard. The manager/owner took it away and agreed it wasn't the best.

Great place to dine in! Service staff were polite, responsive, really friendly, and the boss was really cheerful as well :) It's recommended to go on weekdays as you'll most likely have the place to yourself haha, but come early if you want to grab a drink at the affiliated bar next door as it's pretty popular with the local expats. Very well-decorated, with rustic furniture and decor that made the ambience quite interesting. Food was tasty but brunch portions were on the small side - the platters however were flavourful and well-curated, and paired well with cocktails/wines. Overall a fantastic experience!

The Sheppards pie, was cooked very well and in a classic British style, however I felt the portion was too small and the cost quite high. Vegetables overdone and in too much butter. Pie was great.

Had the big breakfast. Scrambled eggs were good, bacon was great! Crumpets so-so. Portions were good for me but left my hungry friend craving for briyani down the street. Service didn't rush us but didn't (re)fill our empty water glass until we asked...

First time to the restaurant as it was recommended by friends. Like the ambience as it is very homely and the staff are very friendly. The food is good especially the truffle fries which is awesome.

Food was nicely cooked, room is well decorated and waiting staff are friendly. However, overall quite expensive - particularly $12 for a bowl of fruit and a small amount of yoghurt - which took so long to arrive that those of us who ordered cooked food had finished eating already. Also, while fashionable to take orders by memory, the "hip" aura disappears when the waiter needs to come back to check his recollection. Finally, coffee forgotten but included in bill. Nice people, bit shambolic, bit expensive.

Best western breakfast on the East Coast, great family venue and always great service. Four of us ate: we had Gamekeepers Breakfast, Beetroot & Quinoa salad, French Toast and a stack of Pancakes. My kids are fussy eaters but they always enjoy it there.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast lunch with my family at the Rabbit Carrot Gun today. Manager received us warmly, even though we arrived well after our reservation time. Table service was attentive, quick and very helpful. Tasty food was well-presented and generously portioned. Lively atmosphere. Will visit again!

One server excellent, the other appalling. A little training wouldn't go amiss! It's the 4th time I've been and generally the service and food are excellent. This time, the portions were small, drinks and food came at different times for each guest. Having raved about previous visits we were a little disappointed.
