Love this place ! I have been here many times, bought some friends never tried this before and everyone enjoyed it so much. We ordered garoupa and asked to add soup a few times as it was so good. Staff is friendly. Highly recommend !

Good service, good was served quite fast. Food wise - super tasty but salty. A bit on the pricey side but that’s the price u pay for efficiency and good food.

Food standards has been consistently good - the fish head soup was fabulous with very fresh red garoupa. All dishes were amazing ; we had the prawn rolls, marmite chicken. Lady boss personally attended to tables as well and she recommended the silky tofu add on to the soup, which was really good.

A nice fish head steamboat and my mother in law loves going there for occasion dinner

The fish wasn't fresh but the boss changed it for us. Although service was good, it dampened our impression a little. The pigs trotter was one of the best, although price was also steeper than the rest. All in all, the prices here are a little steep for the quality but no doubt they serve decent food and the lady boss is very charismatic.

The food is delicious, but the steamboat fish soup caused thirst due to MSG content, making my family members feel very thirsty and prompting them to drink water after 30 minutes.

The fish head soup very nice and chilli crab very fresh but needs to order in advance. We dining with our family group of 12 the service very good and the lady boss very 😊nice

We made reservations. When arrived 10 mins early, heard staffs speaking in Cantonese our indoor table was given away to another. As it was our 1st time there, we didn't comment when they gave us a table outdoor. And omg, the outdoor is hot (weather) with us sitting near charcoal burning. Having steamboat fish soup is never comfortable with outdoor settings unless you like to sweat while eating. This is 1st and last time. I will go back to Balestier Whampoa Keng.

We ordered 4 dishes. They were quite savoury as expected. However, the signature shrimp paste chicken wings were ok but quite ordinary. Not understanding why it is a signature dish.

went on mother's day and was informed by the staff that their focus is on set meals menu for the day so we were pretty much limited on what can be ordered. most of the remaining items on the menu were unavailable (I.e all egg and tofu items were not available, almost half of the vegetables selection and some other meat like chicken or pork options were also not available), thus will not visit on special ocassion again. the ingredients for fishhead steamboat pot was also very minimal (just fish, veg and yam etc), it's not worth the price as compared to other fish head steamboat restaurants in singapore which we have been to
