The Les Amis group of restaurants takes its Peperoni Pizzeria chain into the heartlands with the seventh outlet opening in the Thomson district of Singapore. Occupying a shophouse unit along Upper Thomson Road, you’ll know why it has been winning over its legions of fans for more than a decade once you’ve had a taste of its sumptuous pastas and crispy wood-fired pizzas. Popular Italian dishes aside, it is also the convivial settings and affable crew that makes every visit to Peperoni Thomson a memorable one. Just don’t forget to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
From its humble beginnings in 2004 at Greenwood Avenue, Peperoni Pizzeria has come a long way to become one of Singapore’s most talked-about pizza chains. The seventh and most recent outlet to open in Thomson finds its place at the end of a row of shophouses along Upper Thomson Road, bringing the well-loved brand to the heartlands for the first time. Just like its sister outlets, Peperoni Thomson offers generous portions of traditional pastas and wood-fired pizzas with a wide range of toppings and seasonings to suit every taste bud. Bring your friends, just so you can try the Italian restaurant’s signature XXL-sized pizzas, each measuring a whopping 21 inches in diameter – not for the faint-hearted!
As far as recommendations at Peperoni Thomson go, the classic Margherita pizza never fails to delight. Crowd favourite lasagne offers comfort food at its finest while the oven baked baby back ribs will tempt carnivores with its oven-roasted rack of baby back ribs marinated in herbs. If you still have room for dessert, cool down in Singapore’s tropical weather with a scoop of Italian gelato. The next time you’re in Thomson, you won’t want to miss out on Peperoni Thomson. Reserve a table ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
Good food and service, and not much crowd on a weekday night. Yay!
Nice pizza. After years, the taste are the same. The soda drink are awesome as well. Overall, Just a big expensive for the small dishes. Rest are good.
Great food and great service. The food is always well-prepared. You can also customize the food to your taste. All of the pasta are excellent.
Great food great place. Just a little tough to find parking.
Went to the restaurant on a Sunday night to celebrate my brother's birthday. One of the service crew was helpful to point out which menu items were available for the Entertainer app. We faced not that helpful service crew while we were ordering because the person did not seem to understand or tried to understand what I was ordering. While we were eating they were also making a lot of noise when packing & laying out the tables. I thought they were closing but it was only 8.30pm & they only close at 11pm. Regardless, the food was surprisingly very good as my parents don't usually enjoy western food. We ordered the truffle cream chicken pasta, chilli crab pasta, & fried chicken with potato wedges. All were really good! Would rate really highly for the food & might go to another branch again to try the pizzas.
My family had enjoyed our previous lunches there. On 30 Dec 2017,due to sat evening's high order for take away, our order of 2 Large pizzas were brought to our table at about 7.15pm- near 1 hr after order. We were told to expect 30 mins for the pizzas.(ordered by 2 of my family members). We waited less than 30 mins for the all our orders during our previous lunches there. I observed othe diners who were already there before 6.10pm had also waited similar duration. The restaurant staff could have updated the diners on the longer than expected wait for pizzas and to offer some finger food in the interim.
My family used to love the pastas and pizzas here. Our favorite was the Salmon pizza, and we usually ordered a large pizza with half Salmon and half Frutti De Mare. The latter was good too, however both are no longer on the menu when we came here for dinner. Another favorite was the Pesto penne which comes with a lot of cheese and sunflower seeds, which has also been dropped from the menu. Although the other pastas and pizzas are pretty okay, we really miss these family favorites!
Calamari was served quickly and risotto arrived soon after. However, after half an hour, we were still waiting for our pizza. We approached one server who said she would check. 5 min later still no pizza. I got up and approached the server who took my order. She quickly went to the preparation area and saw my pizza already prepared and began to slice it. The pizza came with oil soaked through and not piping hot. I think it could have been sitting there for a while.
Accidentally spilled the "precious" red sauce that came with the calamari and asked for another saucer. Will told by the big sized waitress loudly in front of the whole restaurant that have to pay if want another saucer. She could have told us discreetly. It is just a saucer of sauce. Does she have to be so mean? And we don't drink the sauce BTW. We just spilled it and wanted to ask for another.
Pizza was awesome as usual. Do consider booking especially during the weekends lunch/dinner period as i saw a few patrons got turned away due to the pizzeria being full. Do prefer the Thompson outlet so far as the pizza taste better there imo.
