German cuisine comes to heartland Singapore thanks to Otto Berlin Haus, one of many food stalls packing out the Toa Payoh Lorong 8 Hawker Centre. Being at the centre of such a culinary hubbub, Otto Berlin Haus is often very, very busy with hungry locals looking to sate their appetites on Austrian schnitzel, a multitude of hearty Central European foodstuffs, and huge double pints of German beer. But it could be wurst – you could be left waiting for a table. Thanks to Quandoo, you can reserve yourself some space to yodel at this highly popular restaurant in Toa Payoh, not far from Braddell MRT if you’re coming in for some hawker centre excitement from elsewhere in Singapore. Prost!
The "restaurant" is one of the stalls in the coffee shop. It's pretty cheap for German food. However, as it's a shared space and there's a stall selling mookata, you'll smell bad after dining.
Food was not bad, nice ambience. Overall experience good. Great
