The number 99 is full of symbolic meaning in Islam, and at Ninety Nine Bistro on Singapore’s Eunos Road, they’re honouring the religion by serving only wholesome halal cuisine to their dedicated customers. The restaurant offers diners a truly unique concept: on the one hand, they can enjoy quick grab-and-go dishes that are pre-packed and ready to purchase, and on the other, guests are welcome to enjoy a sophisticated sit-down meal complete with table service and food cooked fresh to order. In this way, the restaurant appeals to a wide range of customers, especially busy workers looking to enjoy an incredible meal without the wait. Paya Lebar’s Ninety Nine Bistro serves up a range tasty meze like hummus bil tahini and Arabic salad, wood-stoned pizzas and tasty pastas, as well as Asian delights like Chinese-style mee goreng, salted fish fried rice and nasi goreng warung. It’s all halal, and it’s all delicious, so head over to see for yourself what all the fuss is about!
Customer service was great. Marketing manager explained to us about the catering, upon request. Chef Syed served us our bamboo briyani personally, and explained to us the uses of the bamboo and certain ingredients.
Its really worth it because the choice of the food is unbelievable. The food is really tasty and is a good place for iftar because its a nice place for couple and family.
Food was wonderful.. the spices add more flavor to the rice and the lamb served was very tender and well cooked. Will be visiting again..!
Hi there..it was my 1st time tryin 99 bistro and im satisfied with the food, service and ambience is perfect.would love to recommend n come again to the restaurant.thumbs up and all the best to the team 😊
I bought groupon vouchers for Ninety nine bistro in 3rd week of May . I called on Mon 6 Jun to make a reservation for Sat 11 jun and was told I could not use the groupon vouchers during the Ramadan period ( 6 Jun - 5 Jul) as the bistro only served the Ramadan buffet during that period. I was told to book after the Hari Raya Puasa ( 6 Jul). When I called on Thu 7 Jul to book for Sat 9 Jul I was told again that the bistro was closed for the Hari Raya holidays till 10 Jul. So in effect the 2 month period validity of the voucher was reduced to 3 weeks. My question is: Why didn't the bistro declare a black out period when it advertised on the groupon website? It would have spared their customers the frustration and much wasted time. I finally manged to book a reservation for Sat 16 Jul and went there with my family for a meal. We ordered buffalo wings, cheese fries, bbq chicken, soup, compound salad, lamb shank, meat lovers pizza, pasta cabonara, and beef kuay teow. We had had to send back the buffalo wings because they were under cooked ( bloody on the inside). The halibut and chips were below average - fish was not fresh and the batter was too thick. The bbq chicken was too dry , the beef kuay teow overly salty and the cheese fries smoldered with ketchup. Bad food we can forgive but what floored us was the atrocious service. My son asked for water and was told they do not serve water but later on we saw a table next to ours with some elderly people being served water. My daughter -in-law asked a wait staff if there was somewhere she could wash her hands she was gestured to a sink behind the counter but was promptly reprimanded by a chef who came out of the kitchen and told her she had no business to be there. If there was ever a score for service, ninety nine bistro would get a sub minus score.
No GST and Service Charge. Food affordably priced and portions are quite big. Porcini mushroom soup had little mushroom taste. Crispy salmon was not very fresh. Pan seared halibut was tender. gulamelaka panna cotta had a unique texture.
First time tried the Bamboo briyani, It was very tasty. The location is easily accessible. Overall had a good experience. Will be visiting again in the near future..:)
Food was good but place was quite squeezy. Food could be topped up faster. And tables should not be arranged so close to the buffet area.
