It used to be that dining at Niku Katsumata was reserved for members of the elite. Well, that is at least the case at its Tokyo flagship, which is why yakiniku fans in Singapore were over the moon when the Japanese restaurant opened its first overseas outlet in Tanjong Pagar. Top quality Wagyu imported from the prefectures of Kagoshima and Kumamoto is cooked on a crystal plate over a low flame, making every bite a tender, juicy delight. Both the Katsumata and Ebisu menus promise a well-rounded gastronomic experience on Duxton Road like no other. More importantly, don’t forget to book ahead as seats are often in demand.

Excellent yakiniku and beef sashimi flown from Japan. Yakiniku is cooked on crystal glass which is a different experience from other Japanese restaurant. Attentive service. Would recommend others
