The Thai tradition of mookata is a favorite among foodies of Singapore, with mookata restaurants scattered all across the city-state. Nowhere in Bukit Timah does it quite like Mookalicious though, and at this unpretentious little restaurant on Lor Kilat you’ll find fantastic value buffet deals, making it a great choice for a big, communal meal out with family or friends. Some of the delicious ingredients you will find on the menu at Mookalicious include mouthwatering meats like sliced beef, tom yum chicken, streaky bacon and pork liver, premium seafood such as sliced abalone, boiled scallop meat, razor clams and cuttlefish paste, and tasty veggies from golden mushrooms to Chinese cabbage and seaweed. To guarantee a table at Mookalicious, booking in advance is recommended.
Abit disappointment with the food. We paid for the buffet but some items are not available or shortage . Soup too salty. Staff looked very restless and not keen to serve.
We were promptly seated when we arrived - no one asked about reservation. The guys tending to the stall were busy, but our ordered food arrived pretty fast. Service was bare and no frills. One thing though - we remember being offered a change of grill on our previous visit, but when we requested for the same this time (our grill was totally blackened and we had more meat to cook), the guy (same guy who served us on our last visit) claimed that they don't do such stuff, which left us a bit perplexed and not so satisfied. Ended up having no choice but to finish cooking on our burnt grill.
Had ala carte buffet which included a few of the premium items on the menu. Overall food was good, decent variety. Great milk tea as well
