Thai food, as Singapore well knows, is all about vibrancy and freshness of ingredients. You know when you smell Thai food and you certainly know when you taste it. Makan Thai on Jalan Legundi in Yishun is a damn fine example of all of this, and it’s a wildly popular little restaurant. On the menu you’ll find curries and stir-fries and salads and soups, as well as plenty of prime meats and seafood. Some favourites that you’d be wise not to miss include the glass noodle pad thai, the tom yum fried rice and the seriously addictive mango sticky rice with coconut milk. Diners of Yishun and indeed all of Singapore: if you don’t know, get to know.
Great service by the staff, we enjoyed the lovely thai ice tea in a tower and of course food was undeniably sumptuous and filling! Definitely our fav thai restaurant!
The food was good, atmosphere good, reservation with food order was correct, and just in time for buka, would definitely come back but hope there willl be more choices of desserts.
