More about the restaurant: LongPlay
Another platinum record from Singapore bar and restaurant hit-makers Unlisted Collection, LongPlay is a destination for classic cocktails, innovative twists and nibbles set to a soundtrack of vintage vinyl pulled up from a vault packed with jazz, motown, blues and glam rock spanning the 50s to the 70s. Bringing some old fashioned charm to Singapore’s Bugis, LongPlay’s premises tucked between Haji Lane and Arab Street matches signature industrial looks with a nostalgic atmosphere and, of course, a long-playing cocktail list that pays tribute to iconic musicians and quintessential tracks from the past. As one of the area's hottest haunts, booking a table at LongPlay in advance is recommended.

Taking it’s name from the 33rpm long-player record format, this stylish Singapore bar attracts cocktail connoisseurs and audiophiles alike with its lengthy list of drinks and even lengthier list of records – over 3000 to be exact. LongPlay excels at nurturing old school nostalgia at its cosy space in Bugis, all mood-lit and mid-century modern – a trademark of the bar’s umbrella F&B group Unlisted Collection. It’s the perfect place for a romantic rendezvous or a meeting of like minds if you’re a fan of great music with cocktails and bar food to match.
Taking cues from the music that fills the space at LongPlay’s location between Haji Lane and Arab Street, the skilled liquid mixologists do battle with the Wilson Benesch turntables and ATC soundsystem in good humour, whipping up concoctions like the Hit the Road Jack (wood-infused Jack Daniels, cherry Heering, yellow Chartreuse, Cynar and Fernet-Branca, served in a bottle wrapped in mock divorce papers!) and the Strawberry Field, a take on the classic gin and tonic made with strawberry gin. Accompany your cocktail with some delicious bar snacks like the cumin and lemon hummus served with flatbread and the togarashi squid with harissa dip or tuck into a main course – for comforting kicks we recommend the mac and cheese! A hidden gem in Singapore’s Bugis, this bar deserves a spot in your crate of old favourites.
