Grilled dishes, steaks and mezze are the order of the day over at Le Rida, a popular restaurant on Bukit Timah Road that has been attracting diners from all over Singapore to try their phenomenally flavourful dishes and drinks. Home to some of the city-state’s best steaks, this restaurant is a favourite with meat lovers who enjoy their meat tender, satisfying and of the highest quality. Offering both French and Lebanese specialities, Le Rida offers a new experience for diners veering from the usual path. We recommend starting with some mezze like hummus or labneh before trying out Lebanese-style charcoal-grilled favourites including shish taouk, shifak kebab or one of their amazinbg mixed grills. Or, go for some confit de canard on the French menu – book ahead to save your table at this Bukit Timah restaurant.
I liked the ambience, as it wasn't too noisy, and even though it was near the roads, the sound of the passing vehicles were actually alright. Service crew was attentive, but not sure if it would be the same if the crowd was larger. Had the mixed lamb kebab and the grilled prawn. The rice was fragrant but would have appreciated warmer rice. The grilled prawn was cooked nicely, but just to note it's frozen prawns. The mixed lamb kebab has a mixture of review as some of the marinate was nicer but the others were not to our liking. As such, we felt that the meal wasn't very value for money, especially if we didn't use the entertainer app for a better deal.
Le Rida is a small and quiet Lebanese and French restaurant in Bukit Timah. Quality of food was slightly above average, but what really stood out was its excellent, attentive service.
Cosy casual restaurant. Food quality above average. Recommend pita bread with hummus n eggplant dip. Service excellent. Had steak, Salmon n duck. Would prefer a bigger portion.
