Nice dinner which we decided upon at short notice. Had a table downstairs as we made a reservation at the last minute. It was a bit noisy at first, but more due to one customer with a loud voice on an adjacent table. Once they ordered their food and headed upstairs to the barefooted part of the restaurant it was peaceful again. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was tasty. Naan bread was good! Prices were acceptable. Drinks I thought were a little bit on the expense side though for example, $8++ for a Masala Tea seems rather too much. By default the food tends to be on the spicy side - so if you can't handle spice be sure to request less spice when ordered. It was just right level for me, but my partner found it too hot. All in a good dinner, was happy to have come here. Will come again.

Service was good but very expensive. There are way better and cheaper options elsewhere.

All staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Food tastes good like what a Michelin star restaurant should be. Can be pricey but if you are willing to spend, this is the place for you. You get to sit barefoot while dining. An amazing experience to dine here. Spicy challenge is awaiting for spicy lovers. Good luck and have a nice day! :)

I have been longing for some time now to visit this Michelin Star restaurant. However every time something or the other came up. Today also, I had to reschedule my reservation 3 times before finally showing up. I was grateful that I did. I wanted to experience the barefoot dining but that section was full already, so we had to settle with the normal table seating arrangement. This restaurant is famous for it chilli challenges. It has 10 levels, and till now nobody has been able to complete the final level 10. Can I be the one, probably not 😅? But if someone can, they can go home with prize money of S$10,000. My main motive for today was to have a taste of the highly acclaimed food here. We ordered for the Michelin Vegetarian hungry set menu. They would ask you for the level of spiciness, we went with 3, as the ladies that accompanied me didn’t like much spicy food. There are three sections, Not So Hungry/Hungry/Very Hungry, one can choose depending on the number of options (dishes) they want to try. They start serving with Papad and mint chutney, which we devoured in a blink. The main set consists of Chilli Gobi/Channa Masala/Vegetable Korma and Aloo Palak. It comes with Garlic Naan and Saffron Rice. Of the lot, I found Channa Masala to be the best. Though the other dishes were not bad either. The best thing about the food is that it’s very simple with less masala and can be compared to a home-cooked meal. Recommended and would try out the Flexatarian menu next time.

Food was decent. Samosas were cold inside and we had to ask for it to be replaced which they did very graciously. Chef also apologized for mishap. Food is pricey and Portions are quite small.
