Things are heating up on Singapore’s Dempsey Hill with the addition of La Salsa to this thriving retail and dining destination. It’s a total Latin experience, with dishes using imported Mexican ingredients matched by a lively atmosphere. Book a table at this Dempsey Road Mexican and Latin American restaurant and enjoy distinctive, spicy Latin American dishes fresh from La Salsa’s kitchen, with plenty of vegetarian options as well, accompanied by a backdrop of live music courtesy of Singapore’s Bob Dylan, Mr V. Mogan.
Pancita, Mexican meatballs, burritos, pescado Veracruz, churros, chimichanga, and sizzling fajitas are just some of the options available to Singapore’s Latin American cuisine fans at La Salsa, on Dempsey Road. It’s homestyle food prepared with passion by La Salsa’s chefs, using specialty ingredients imported direct from Mexico, the spiritual homeland of the dishes found on this Dempsey Hill restaurant’s packed menus. Dining at La Salsa would not be complete without a carefully blended margarita or a jug of traditional sangria – you’re going to need refreshment after subjecting your tastebuds to La Salsa’s notoriously spicy offering.
The staff at La Salsa know their stuff, and their spice. Expect to be welcomed warmly by people who understand what goes into each and every one of this Singapore Mexican restaurant’s dishes, crafted according to recipes that have been handed down for generations. Service like this extends to La Salsa’s private function capabilities. This chic restaurant along Dempsey Road, in vibrant Dempsey Hill, can accommodate your next party with ease. Besides, Mexican food is the ideal cuisine to invite to a celebration – it has good times built in to every bite. Match all this with La Salsa regular live music and you’ve got a serious fiesta on your plate.
Our 2nd time to this restaurant. Food is good as expected especially the chicken burrito. The staff are very helpful and super friendly. Relaxing ambience. Highly recommended for Mexican cuisines
We went to see Zul Santan who we have followed for more than 25 years. He does a regular slot at la Salsa. He was great. The service was great and we had a fantastic meal too. Great evening. If you enjoyed seeing him with Tanya then make your way down to enjoy it.
Everything was perfect ! A great evening with friends and excellent Food !! Highly recommendet Great Band and Staff very friendly and helpfull at all time
The food was good esp the classic nacho and the pork ribs. The service staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is decorated beautifully with the colourful hanging lights. Will definitely go back again.
We love La Salsa. Good food at a reasonable price and great atmosphere with live music. Could probably do with a couple more waiters as it was very busy on our recent visit. We're becoming regulars.
La Salsa is consistent with its food and the atmosphere never disappoints. That's what we love about it and go there when we want a sure bet.
This was my 2nd visit in 2016 and I have to say it has become one of my favourite restaurants to chill on a weekend. The quality of food and drinks is decent. The biggest plus would be the live band that plays there on Saturday night. It really adds a spark.
Great place. Went back again on a Sunday afternoon for my wife's birthday lunch. The food was good and tasty. It was less crowded because we went a bit late at 2 pm. Service was quick, not a lot of smiles though. Overall a very good experience.
The live band on Sat night is great! Service is good. Drinks prices were not as cheap but the margaritas were tasty (not as strong as i wanted though)! We had enchilada and burrito and both were very yummy!
We have been to La Salsa several times because they have the best Mexican food in Singapore, hands down.
