Regular Japanese haunt in Millenia Walk. Service is prompt with discounts for beer during lunch hour.

Paid a second visit to Kyo-Ya. Ordered most of the same dishes I had but with the refreshingly light Peroni beer and salmon sushi and tantalising yuzu sorbet. The fresh sashimi, beef skewers and fried udon were not one-hot wonders and certainly did not disappoint.

Our first visit to Kyo-Ya and it was a fulfilling gastronomic experience 😄. Every sliver on the sashima platter was fresh as can be, generous and a delightful to the palette. The beef with salt skewers were grilled to perfection! Tender and yummilicious. Comparable to Kuriya! The tempura and chicken and leek skewers were great too. Not to forget, the garlic fried rice and fried udon, seemingly simpler dishes, were tasty and satisfying.
