Kotobuki Restaurant - Jurong

Kotobuki is a solid Japanese restaurant that offers a range of traditional dishes. The food was good, but not particularly memorable. What really stood out to me was the convenience of being able to book a table through Quandoo - it was an easy process and saved us the hassle of waiting for a table. The service was adequate, but not exceptional. While the staff were friendly, they weren't particularly attentive or memorable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and authentic, which added to the overall dining experience. Overall, Kotobuki is a decent option for those looking for authentic Japanese food with the added convenience of being able to book through Quandoo. While the service was normal and the food was good, it didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

Good food and we got a room to ourselves… Location a bit not convenient but there’s few bus stop with different bus number around the area.

Good food and good ambience for the 5 of us. Surely, we will return another day...

Kotobuki is a good and taditional Japanese resturant to go for. Nice as always. Especially Taman Jurong outlet. Very traditional feeling. Food is nice as well.

huge servings of bakumori don - i had the aburi sake which can be shared by 2 pax. a number of items on the menu are unavailable though.

Surprised sashimi was really fresh! Rest of the items on the wazen was decent, nothing to rave about. For the location it’s located at... I think the price point is a little steep. But considering the fact that they have 2 other outlets in town... Service staff was alright, no one was rude or anything. Interior does look like it could do with a little upgrading, the table I was seated at had tape supporting one of the ceiling tile above us LOL glad I survived my meal. (Unless rustic izakaya is the vibe this outlet’s headed for...)

Had a meal with family here & it was a cosy private room with tatami seating. It was quite an experience as it was a cosy spot. Food was pretty good & affordable. Only wished that the room was a lil more soundproof as we could hear our neighbouring room's conversations.

old school, rustic decor with efficient service staff & interesting menu. tried their chirashi don served ice kacang style but to be honest, felt it was only so so. loved their grilled chicken balls skewer though - super yummy!
