About Huang Ting

Taking Cantonese classics and giving them a contemporary update, Huang Ting is the place to go for Chinese food in Jurong. With its unpretentious decor and laidback vibe, Huang Ting is a favourite among Singapore’s Chinese cuisine loving foodies and you’ll find it located on Jurong East, inside the IMM building. Begin with some golden sun rays (golden fried enoki mushrooms) or salmon tuxedo (Crispy salmon skin tossed with salted egg yolk). Then, tuck into some masquerade ball (hidden conpoy in steam prawn paste with black truffle mushroom balls served with a special capsicum sauce) or the drunken cow (pan-fried beef tenderloin cubes in red wine). Popular with Singapore locals as well as Chinese expats, Huang Ting can get busy with diners looking for an authentic Cantonese taste. Book in advance to avoid disappointment!

Food generally well prepared and tasty, several dishes on menu not available, small portions suited for 3-4pax, rather pricey for a neighbourhood restaurant, doesn't serve chinese tea by the pot, only expensive floral teas at $4.80 per cup. $0.80 for plain water.

the food was not bad, but service staff was slightly inexperienced
