We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite not having finished our food, we were rushed to leave, which made us feel very unwelcome. Dining out should be enjoyable and relaxed, not pressured. We hope the management considers improving how they handle guest service and timing.

Our first time here and we decided to go with ala carte dishes instead of the buffet as we weren’t big eaters. We ordered the mutton and beef plate, but had no idea that it was quite a big serving. Personally really liked the beef but felt that the mutton had a particular smell to it that wasn’t to my liking. However the lamb skewers were really good

Overall, it was a good experience. The food was definitely value for money – the ingredients were fresh, and there was a good variety. You really get your money’s worth here, which is always a win. However, the seating arrangement was a bit uncomfortable. The space felt quite squeezy, and I found it challenging to move around comfortably. To make matters worse, I had to walk a bit of an awkward route to get to the food station. This meant navigating through tight spaces, which wasn’t very convenient. All in all, if you're looking for hotpot at a reasonable price, Happy Lamp Hotpot is worth considering, but be prepared for a bit of a tight squeeze when it comes to seating and food collection.

Fresh meat all the way! And guests have the most comfortable and easiest experience for collecting other food items from the buffet. Allow us to enjoy the hotpot and meat all the better. Also the whole place is clean and enough staff who help to clean up areas

Good service, taste of the food is good, value for money

Food was good, served promptly. Price was reasonable. 4 pax about $23 each per pax for ala-carte menu. Instant noodles was expensive though, $8 plus for a normal 78g portion. Less than 50 cts if you buy from supermart. Other than that, all's well.

Food was fresh and service was super fast. Dipping soups were delicious. Side dishes at the buffet perhaps could be improved. Fries were soggy. Biggest wish is that sauces are included as part of the meal like in other hotpot eateries

There’s quite a number of items to select from the list and we were all quite full. Dining time however, should be lengthened. We didn’t realise that we have passed the last available ordering.

This place has been a monthly visit for me. This time, the layout has changed, and it’s more efficient. Now, you can self-serve the finger foods, except for the meat, which you have to order separately. This is a good idea to keep the meat fresh. Nice improvement!

The food was nice. However, the service was lacking. Staff did not want to answer our questions with regards to the portion sizes as they were busy. Additionally, We had to ask for an extra chair again (another 5-7min wait), despite the staff already telling us they would take it for us.
