Roast pork sold out early so we were quite disappointed. Service was quick so thats a plus. Char siew though was quite oily overall, not just the fatty part in the meat itself but the glaze seem to have overdose of pork lard as well? Noodles were springy and chilli was good though. Similarly, loads of pork lard in the noodles hence tasty!

Very efficient service. Food is excellent. Come earlier before 6.45 to get a bigger table.

Ordered the noodle bowl with roast pork, char siew and duck. Felt that the portion of the char siew was a little lesser than the other 2 meats. Overall, food was decent.

Friendly servers but the food standard has dropped slightly. Perhaps cos we went during dinner, the roasted meat are not as good as before and the cabbage is not as soft as before too.

I liked the Char Siew the best, but the rest of the roasted meats were good too. Worth a meal if in the area.

Super sweet Char Siew. I like it. Some may find it too sweet. Drink the char Siew sauce too. Nice tinkle.

Restaurant has a good retro vibe to it reminiscing the olden SG days. Dishes variety was few but the quality is exceptionally good. For me, all are delicious but the standouts are the salted egg lotus roots and sweet sour fish.

Got the VIP room which was supposed to be a good thing but turned out to be an unpleasant experience. The room smells like the kitchen and there was a dead cockroach at the corner of the table which we only noticed after the meal and houseflies flying around during the entire restaurant. The table cloth used to wipe the tables were oily and had a horrible smell. Mother’s Day meal didn’t turn out as great as we’ve seen reviews of the place at all. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

We had the private dining room for 14pax. However, the longest wall of the room was done in wall-cladding tiles and it was so difficult for us to hear one another for our order to be taken as the sound kept bouncing off the room. Terrible, terrible. Only one ipad for ordering without any hardcopy menu available so it was a huge challenge for the one keying in the group order. As the noise/sound is trapped inside this small enclosed space, the group had to keep our voices very low as we shared some communal dishes. The food is very delicious but the entire dining experience is unsatisfactory.
