Ding Heng Kitchen on Changi Road North in Singapore is the ideal spot for lunch or after-work food for guests looking for authentic Chinese food in an unfussy and fun environment on the doorstep of the airport. Opened in 2011, Ding Heng Kitchen has established itself as a firm favourite among Singapore’s diners looking for smart, tasty and fast Chinese food prepared the old fashioned way and served with a smile.
One of my go-to lunch spots. Food is always good but the environment can be improved. The air-con section echoes and it becomes extremely noisy when there are big groups of people inside.
Unfortunately not all items on menu is available. The food items we ordered some turned out to be too salty .
Curry fish head was nice, but crab so-so only. 2nd floor was noisy bcos the room was quite enclosed. Waiting time for dishes were quite long. Staff were friendly but keep recommending the expensive dishes.
Changi Road North meanders across a big chunk of Singapore, so perhaps it’s more helpful to say
that Ding Heng Kitchen is right across from the airport, and as such a popular last-stop point for
travelers heading off, or a first-port-of-call for Singaporeans returning needing a taste of home.
