The place was beautifully decorated. I love the ambience altogether. I love the food, it tasted great for whatever I paid for. The steak was cook almost to perfection, the sauce is completely balanced. Unfortunately the souffle isn't perfect. For such technical dessert, it's a pity because if it's missed, then it won't taste the same. Still a good effort but not great. The service was awesome, staff are extremely friendly. I would recommend a try for sure.

Eclectic ambience drawing inspiration from Chinese and Western ideas. Waiters were kind and courteous. Food was delicious; ribeye was great and beef rib bourguignon was tender and melted in your mouth.

Food was absolutely delicious, everyone loved it. Ambiance was fanciful with the view of the fish pond right beside our table. Would recommend anyone to try this out if they haven't done so!

Steak was Yum, the sauce was rich and very complimentary. Wanna try the crepe suzette next time, but tried the rum cake which was light and decadent.

The food was good but service could have been better. FOH was under-staffed for almost full house and could have been more attentive to guests with young children.

Set lunch menu should have a wider variety. When we request for set lunch menu, the waiter told us that he needs to ask the chef if they serve it today. But I read online that their set lunch is quite popular that's why I'm here. But Seems to me that they want us to order from the main menu which is very pricey. Must pay for extra serving of bread. In other restaurants, it's usually free flow. There were only a total of 2 tables on a wed afternoon for lunch but service was quite slow. But food quality is still good.

Chef Anthony's excellent, original, varied, thoughtful and balanced (and completely different every visit) "mobile buffet" is delivered to your table by his very attentive, knowledgeable, pleasant, friendly staff. And they keep it coming until you tell them to stop. AND if there's certain things you don't eat, they will substitute "off-menu" without being asked. An outstanding choice for a French-inspired lunch. Plus the free flow prosecco/wine option is well worth it. the only reason not to give this place a good review is that it will get too crowded and I won't get a table! Brilliant: 6 stars

A true gem in a unique neighbourhood that serves good hearty food that warms the soul. There is just enough variety to make repeat visits a treat ans the prices are reasonably easy on the pocket.

The second time I have been here and the food was consistently high in quality. My friends visiting from abroad were very impressed and we will definitely be visiting this fine establishment again. The cote de boeuf and poulet roti were gorgeous!

Excellent service and deliciously prepared dishes. Thoroughly pleased and enjoyed by all my guests. The communal sharing style of French food and desserts was preferred and welcome by Asian ladies.

Nice restaurant serving good French tapas on a trolley for brunch. Favorite dish is the nun's puff. Least favorite is the crepe with caramel sauce. Was too sweet! we recommended to the restaurant to replace this dish with the traditional crepe and lemon/sugar instead. Overall, good food, good service and good atmosphere. Trolley is a bit gimmicky though. :)

Reasonably priced excellent food! The restaurant was not full but Quandoo gave us the impression that it's full for the night as reservations were only available for 6.30 or 8.30pm

Cocotte's "Poulet Roti" is simply finger-licking good! One must try it to appreciate its taste and quality. Food and service are top-notch. Will definitely visit Cocotte again.

Surprising situated in a very busy street. Looking nice urban hip. Steak (200 g) was very good. Too bad they poured a sauce on top that was too spicy for the kids. We preferred the sauce to be on the side.

Went there for brunch with 3 girls friends for my birthday. We all really enjoyed it. Food was served to us in a trolley which was really cool. There was a lot of food and all were amazing. Started with salad and prawns, then salmon quiche (which was my favorite), sea bass (also really good), beef tongue, and kind of a ham sandwich. Then there was chicken couscous, also really good. Then a pork dish dish, then beef, there may have been one more that I forgot. Then to finish off there were 5 types of desert. The salted caramel sauce with the cream was so good! We had to ask for extra and basically dipped all our dessert in it. At $59 for the food and $40 for prosecco over a 3-hour affair, I think it's well worth it. Been telling all my friends about it and will definitely be back.

Food was decent and in huge servings, so good for sharing. Found it a bit pricey though. Ambience was nice, and it was rather empty on a weekday night.

When I initially arrived the carts were limited as they were already finished serving a big crowd. The service was patchy and some foods were served cold...it seemed like they were randomly leaving us leftovers from the cart as we didn't pick anything they just dropped it on our table. However, when the carts were fresh they were more than generous with the portions. Towards the end when the kitchen closed to stop serving from the carts they whipped up a small dessert platter for us. Overall pleasant just have to be there when the carts re freshly made...otherwise you won't get much food.

The ambiance was amazing, and the service was very friendly, and the food was definitely tasty. We loved the apps and the beef bourguignon was the best dish of the night. One of the rare good mid-priced places we've been to in Singapore so far (there are plenty of inexpensive and expensive options, just not a lot in the middle that we've found so far). Definitely will come back.

Portions were a little small for the starters and mains (each good for 1-2 apart from the chicken), while too large for the deserts (each good for 3-4). Did not feel too welcome from the service provided though the restaurant was half empty. Perhaps my expectations were too high? On the plus side ambience and decor was quite nice and food was decent too. We had mussels, two salads, beef bourg, chicken, sirloin steak, carrot cake and cheesecake. Oh the complimentary bread was good! And remember to order the chicken/steak in advance or be prepared to wait 45minutes (as advertised). Paid about 55 per head including corkage for 2 bottles of wine for 10 people.

My fourth time at Cocotte and the first time I have been disappointed. The food was very good - the beef cooked just right and the mushroom soup as usual delicious. However, the service standard of the staff was very poor and at times quite rude. When met at the front desk I recognised the waiter from previous visits and smiled and said a strong, familiar hello. He didn't speak, so I said "hello"and smiled again. He responded with a low key 'hi, do you have reservation?' I said yes I did, said my name and he just turned and led us to the table without a word of welcome or pleasantry. The waiter at our table clearly was miserable and somehow resented his job, he was flippant, difficult to understand and very patronising in his tone. When he brought plates he was clumsy in delivery and then when he cleared them he would just say "you done?' and reach across us and take the stuff roughly away. When I asked a third waiter if we could have more bread, he responded "we charge for bread!" I asked how much, and he almost shouted at me "$1.20 a piece!". I don't know whether they had had an argument but they were all three really grumpy with us as guests. We all noticed it individually and only remarked on it at the end. I won't visit again for a while and hope that the usual courtesy and friendliness returns in the mean time.
