Coffee, frankly speaking, is what Candour Coffee is all about. They stock beans from local roasters Market Lane Coffee as well as a discerning international brew from Dukes Coffee, a few thousand kilometres away in Melbourne, Australia, where coffee is king. Here on Beach Road, near the intersection with Purvis Street and Middle Road so not too far from Bugis, City Hall, and Esplanade. Candour Coffee’s motto, proudly emblazoned on the window, is ‘We love to make coffee for the city that loves to drink it’, and judging by the foot traffic descending on the cosy, stylish cafe’s premises from the nearby skyscrapers, their formula is a winning one. That said, it’s always worth logging on and booking ahead if you’re in need of a good cuppa and a bite to eat, and don’t want to be disappointed.
