Located on the ground floor of The Garage in the Singapore Botanic Gardens in Bukit Timah, this charming cafe is all about pollinating the Gardens with warm hospitality, delicious international food and friendly service. That’s a recipe for success, if you ask us. Laidback, family-friendly garden cafe by day and cool bistro by night, you’ll find gourmet pizzas, fresh pastas, tapas, sandwiches and cake being served up alongside coffee, cocktails, beer and wine which wash everything down just nicely. Housed within The Garage in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Bee’s Knees is chic, stylish and home to international dishes that come so beautifully presented, they’re almost too good to be eaten… almost. Speaking of the food, what can you expect from the the Bee’s Knees Singapore menu? During the day, we love pairing our coffee, smoothie or fresh juice with poached eggs, brown butter hollandaise, Kurobuta ham, walnuts, tater tots, arugula and roast tomatoes or the homemade muesli topped with fresh strawberries, Greek yoghurt and honey. For lunch, we recommend the truffle carbonara spaghetti or the shrooms pizza topped with truffle bechamel, mushrooms, arugula, parmesan and confit onions. Washed down with some coffee and cake or a delicious cocktail, perhaps?

If you’re visiting Bee’s Knees in Bukit Timah during the evening, you’ll want to start with some internationally-inspired snacks to share. We love the truffle parmesan fries; crispy calamari; pork belly sliders and boxing chicken drumlets smothered in sriracha mayo. Then, sample the aglio e olio vongole pasta cooked with fresh clams and loads of garlic and chilli; pork belly spaghetti ragout or the Spanish pizza topped with chorizo, piparras, Manchego and olives. Good food and great ambience. Wait staff are nice and friendly too. We sat outdoors as we had our dog with us. There is a big fan to keep us cool. Nice music too.

Ambience is good n cozy. Menu is limited but food delivers the taste. The pizza is big n good for sharing. The service there is not that great n had to catch the attention of serving staff there.
