More about the restaurant: (O) Beer Xchange
You might remember Beer Xchange in its former incarnation as Clarke Quay’s beloved Beer Market, where the prices of beers fluctuate according to the demand in that time period. Now that it has done away with its stock market-like pricing model, its wide selection of beers are sold at fixed prices, alongside a variety of Italian and western bites. Situated at The Foundry on River Valley Road, come into this restaurant and bar in Singapore’s premiere nightlife district for food, drinks and live entertainment, but don’t forget to make a reservation.

Thinking about making a (O) Beer Xchange booking?
Known in its past life as the Clarke Quay bar with a unique stock market-like pricing model, Beer Xchange now keeps things consistent by offering its wide variety of beers, lagers, pilsners and ciders at a fixed price. The other thing that hasn’t changed is its spacious premises at The Foundry on River Valley Road – something we’re most thankful for in space-constrained Singapore.
The menu at this restaurant and bar is largely of an Italian slant, featuring pizzas, pastas, burgers and homemade desserts. We highly recommend the truffle mushroom cream pasta and crispy cream crackers battered pork cutlet, though you might be keen to challenge your friends to the highest level of spice in Beer Xchange’s signature spicy drumlets. Can’t take the heat? You’ll love the happy hour specials of beer, house spirits and house wine at $5 nett from 5pm to 8pm everyday. And if you’re hungry for entertainment afterwards, resident band Shagies – a well-known band in Singapore’s nightlife circuit for the past 30 years – will take you into the wee hours with their timeless covers of classic hits and modern chart toppers. Come on down to Beer Xchange at Clarke Quay for a wild night of Italian food, drinks and live music, but first, you’ll want to make a reservation.
