Quite expensive, but food quality is there. Atmosphere is ok
Nice ambient and atmosphere worth a visit, next to MRT very convenient too.
The salad was fresh and filling, the champagne chilled and French, and the location is great just opposite the Capitol Theatre. Would recommend this place.
Poor experience. The waiter was not around to guide me to the table, neither was he around when I wanted to place my order. I was the only customer around. The mont blanc that I had was stiff, and when I requested for a change (as it had come into contact with red sauce from another dessert I presume), I was told that all of the mont blancs were like this as they were shipped in a box from Paris. The mont blanc was also seemingly sweeter than the one I had in Dubai... Also, waiter had a really distinct cigarette smell on him, which was unprofessional. Almost no service was provided in any sense (not even water was served or offered), and to think I had to pay service charge for it! Probably one of the worst dining experiences I ever had.
Good service and food is nice. Will go back again.
Lousy food. The shrimp is not fresh at all with the mushy texture. Other food that we ordered were below standard (bacon looks like taken out from 7-11 sandwich) . Will not come back anymore.
Service is up to expectation The bread and pastries are served warm Worth a try
I tried Angelina's famous signature Old-Fashioned Hot Chocolate “L'Africain” and it was damn good. I thought I couldn't finish the whole serving of L'Africain cos it is so thick and rich. But it's really smooth and taste awesomely great and I did finish the whole cup. It's extraordinary. The cafe and it's ambience is almost Parisian and I can feel and able to make some writing stuff. Yes, I must visit again and you must have as well if you haven't yet and be try L'Africain no matter what. Cheers!
Legit hot chocolate. A little too sweet, might ask for less sugar next time, if possible.
Had the $32++ set lunch on a weekday, which comprised smoked duck salad, crab meat pasta, macarons and coffee/tea. The dishes were tasty and service from different staff were good.
Reasonable food and desserts. Just right for a cozy date night with girlfriends. Recommended for birthday celebration, if don't mind just the cake without any wordings from chef :)
It is above my expectation. I've tried before in Shanghai. They have more variety. Great food especially dessert, good location and atmosphere plus friendly staff
Great ambience and pastries are nice! the hot chocolate is a bit lacking: it is overcooked and a bit lumpy. Otherwise still quite ok and acceptable. Cannot be compared to Paris.
The environment is great. We could enjoy sunshine in an air conditioned environment. This place is great for talk with friends. We must return for this great environment.
Came here for the Signature Hot -Chocolate. The best hot chocolate to date. Not too sweet. Pastries were very nice. Will definitely come back again. Overall..superb.
Compare to Angelina in Paris, there are less selection of pastries in here , but the food menu was pretty much the same and good. The hot chocolate is still the winner
We were told the new menu for The Entertainer was not out yet. Will be back for another go once the new menu is out
Sorry to say that I will not be going back to Angelina. Food was average. Service was not very good, especially considering that only 2 other tables were occupied. When ordering, we were told that Angelina no longer accepts Entertainer vouchers since end of December (it's February and they are still featured in the online App!). We decided to still give it a try, but we ended up paying more than 100$ for just main course and a glass of wine for two, that's not worth it.
Food was tasty but they came in Parisian-sized portions. We dived into the mains (and only the mains) -pan-fried scallops atop black venere rice (served with a frothy shellfish cream) and sea bass fillet with seasonal greens. Service wasn't exceptional and overall, Angelina did not change my perception of French food. Next!
great ambience especially with the Christmas carolling just outside the restaurant!
Good food and pastry, the service standard is very good as well. Even though the prices is a bit high, I think it is a worthwhile place to visit again.
It's a nice environment for friends or couples to meet up there. However, the food portion is relatively small and not up to me and my friend's standard.
The food was awful. The croque madame was not a proper croque madame. Served on some super sweet, cheap, supermarket bread. Will never eat here again.
We had a lovely afternoon spent at the restaurant with good food, nice ambience, decadent chocolate drink and sinful desserts. Not to mention the bottle of Rose which is easy and smooth. Will definitely go back again to try other items in the menu.
Went around lunch time, not too packed. A really nice restaurant with insta-worthy interior! Thumbs up for the food and good service provided by the staff! I recommend Angelina!
The food tastes great, however the portion was quite small and my friend and I thought it was overpriced. I may come back for coffee etc which is not too overpriced.
brought a girl there for dinner, it was our first date. Chicken and fish we ordered, the food was just great. We chatted for hours with our latte in hand. Thanks Angelina for helping us to be more than just friends! :)
I had the Mont-Blanc Praline and I can tell you it was worth every cent! The outer layer compliments the whole thing perfectly. I also ordered the Old Fashioned Hot Chocolate – L’Africain and although I can't give you a non biased review on it, what I can say is if you're not an avid chocolate lover, it might not be for you but who knows!
Can go for dessert but never for the mains over price and very normal food, salad was very normal, onion soup was good. Steak came over done at first and ravioli is just so so. Won't go back for mains anymore
This place has a nice ambience, very peacefula and picturesque. However the mains here are not much to cry about, as they are just average. If it weren't for the Amex card promotion, I would consider this place to be too pricey.
Their truffle ravioli is the perfect rich, velvety comfort food that I'd like to drown myself in after a long day.pretty looking food but also yummy!
Place looks cozy, food is good as well. A good place to chill out with friends! Will definitely go back to this place again to try out the rest of their desserts.
Staff are friendly and patient plus Environment is great too. Service was fast but the cute-looking desserts are a tad too sweet to our liking. Will be better if the portion for mains increase. :)
Fantastic food! The service was excellent! The only thing lack is there is no napkins.
Supposedly truffle fries should come along with the mains but was abit late...we had to check the status after we finished our course The fettucine was rather dry for my preference..overall service from staff was good
The food is too salty sand heavy. The dessert is also too sweet. The service was okay. Perhaps it was short staffed, the staff did not pay much attention to my Friend and me.
Dessert are not fantastic. Mains are not bad. Overall quite overpriced. Upon arrival, they said they didn't received our reservation via Quandoo. Lucky it wasn't full house.
Service good but food is not my expected. Not bad
Delicious food and nice ambience. Very eager service staff, would come back again especially with the Amex palate card dining deals!
They really took perfection in their food, as its served timely and with finesse. Service is as great. Will come back again for sure, next time.
