Yam's Kitchen - Downtown East

Food is good with a wide selection but the service is so so. Took some time to get the attention of the waiter and was unfriendly

Rojak was good. Other signatures like the fish tails were ok. However, only 1 small pot of Chinese tea which barely served 5 was given to our table of 10 pax. Also, we were told that there would be 11 pcs of prawns and chicken wings for a large serving but ended up having only 10. When we checked with the waitress, she said that the waitress who took the order told us wrongly. There should only be 10 prawns instead of 11. As for the chicken wings, the 'kitchen' made a mistake and we had our 'missing' piece back. Yam's Kitchen needs to work on its arithmetic.

at the restaurant yesterday, the staff told us that we have no reservation despite I receive phione call and email on the confirmation of our reservation. Overall excellent for updating the customer of booking. U may highlight to the restaurant.

Great family style cooking, even Grandma approves and had a good meal! Must-try dishes include the Signature Char Siew, Ah Ma Style Fried Kway Teow and Fried Fish Tail. Won't be long before my next visit now!

Service is slow. Waited for 40mins for our food. Waitress standing around not prompt in clearing plates. looks short handed with cooks. Food is average

The staff incharge of booking was not friendly, my booking time is 6pm and we are 10 mins late. He raised his vioce n wants us to leave restaurant by 7pm without giving me a chance to explain.
