Even tea time it is more than half filled. Two of the cakes were sold out. Perhaps it is because of the rather good value of the afternoon tea set.
Good Taiwanese style restaurant located at a very central location of Plaza Singapura
Went on a weekday afternoon. Practically empty! Great place to just chill in between some shopping. Had the pear tart. Nicely done. Just the right amount of tartness versus sweetness and a solid tasty pastry base.
Service is quite good despite the lunch crowd. Didn’t wait long for the food.
Usual price desserts were very expensive, especially the volcano chocolate thingy which was literally just a few small pieces of cake and the chocolate volcano. But 1 for 1 is ok I guess... Using Maybank card for a limited time promo! Souffle was quite nice though... Tried the pork meat bun also but wasn't fantastic. Honestly wouldn't go back again + nothing special
food was awesome. environment was good.. staff was good too..
The pork floss fried rice was not too bad and the milk tea without sugar. However, I think staff needs to be more aware whether lunch set is available on Friday or not. I was recommended set lunch before on Fridays but the most recent visit, I was told no set lunch on Friday. Yes, I know it is indicated in your menu, but I wondered why the same of your staff kept recommending it twice when I patronised on Fridays?
Service is quite ok. Food is quite ok too. The desserts are good.
Service is ok but under staff. Food variety is quite good.
not too many customers on a friday lunchtime, but restaurant still seemed very short staffed, with no one manning the entrance, taking orders, or at the cashier most of the time. food tasted ok.
Great service by attentive staff, food is up to expectation.
Food is good and the price of it is def worth it!
Worth to get the set lunch. Hopefully will have new dishes.
Return visit. The fried beehoon pancake is nice. More visits to come.
Nice food, nice service, nice place to meet up with friends
Good variety of food. Service is quite good despite being short staffed.
Enjoy the variety of food. Price is quite reasonable. Cosy place.
Good variety of food and drinks. Spacious seating arrangement. Service is ok.
Not bad. Pleasant cafe and not crowded. Will go again if nearby.
Guy awesome cosy Taiwanese cafe with a unique spin to fusion food
my friend felt the food was a bit pricey, but ambiance is not bad.
Awesome experience. Good food and a nice place to catchup with my peers.
The choices of main course for set lunch has reduced compared to last time.
food arrived quickly. service staff were nice overall. pity my noodles were overcooked and had a strong alkali taste. might return to try the desserts.
There are less People during afternoon tea time, so it is quite a great place to enjoy dessert and fruit tea with the nice decor of Typhoon Cafe
Nice, hopefully set lunch will extend to Friday too. Will be back.
Decided to try out Typhoon Cafe as I was in plaza Singapore with my friend. Outlook of the cafe looks clean and welcoming, staff was busy and attentive. Ordered the salted egg popcorn chicken and rice for sharing. Not too bad, will be back to try out other dishes next time.
The food is good but the booth seat's cushion really needs cleaning! There are stains and also a nasty urine smell.
Came here almost weekly as I'm working nearby. Would recommend those who love Taiwan crusine to try it out. It's quite worth it.
Not my first visit here but tried out something different today. Had the salted egg chicken and rice for lunch, simple but tasted good. Salted egg chicken was a little blend in my opinion.
Food was not bad but rather expensive. Can have more variety of taiwanese food.
The noodles here are quite good and value for $$.
The set menu for the weekdays are pretty good though it is a bit pricey. The highlight is the dessert we selected. Happy!
Nice high tea with reasonable price. However hi tea set doesn't include coffee, lol, only tea
The food was tasty and the service was quick and fast.
Had dinner at the plaza Sing outlet and the food was good. The popcorn chicken could have been better though, slightly disappointed by it. Other than that all is good.
Nice restaurant in Plaza Singapura serving Taiwanese food. I ordered the lunch set - egg fried rice with pork cutlet and mango peach tea. It was quite delicious and the portion was a little more on the generous side. I quite like the taste of the tea - genuine tea. Quite worth it for the set. However, they’re kinda short of staff during lunch hours and it takes quite a bit to get their attention. Besides that, food is served quickly and service is great. Overall, great quality food at a reasonable price in Plaza Singapura and the atmosphere is great for gatherings with friends and family.
We ordered two waffles with ice cream. We would like the waffles to be more crispy.
Love the mee sia though portion seems small . Would be good to have a bigger portion.
The entire visit was pleasant but one thing to note, although their have 930pm reservation, their kitchen close at 930pm. Lucky for us, we booked 915pm, but still, a little stressful to decide our meal within 15mins. Mee sua was nice, and the pancake was alittle too sweet for my liking but its very filling!
My second time visiting here. Food was good and waiting time was reasonable. Would come back again.
Food was ok, but pricing are expensive. Dessert was slight better
