Service at Tao Seafood is attentive; staff very hardworking and motivated. Food is fresh, tasty and satisfying. It's a place we will come back to patronise again.
Great food, ambience and food. Service slow have to keep asking for tea to be refilled.
Good food. Fast and excellent service. Not so crowded during lunch as the promo is only during dinner. Ala carte- crispy fish skin with salted egg yolk is a must have
Service and atmosphere were good. Food wasn't fantastic, only went because there was a discount deal. If you're looking for a decent seafood restaurant, this won't necessarily be one of them.
Great service and nice ambience. Food is generally good. We ordered a soon hock and it was perfectly steamed Hong Kong style and priced reasonably at $68. They serve a fantastic Thai style green chilli paste that'a fantastic with seafood.
Excellent service attitude and food quality especially, the Chilli and white pepper crabs, met the expectation of foodies who are my guests from overseas. Hence TAO is highly recommended for seasfood lovers.
Food was great, as always. Service was acceptable but could have been better - one of the wait staff wasn't too friendly as we were looking over the menu.
Went there for the first time with my colleagues over lunch. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service. We had their signature Pot Roasted Chicken Caramelized in Rice Wine, Sweet and Sour Pork Stir Fried with Fresh Fruits, Traditional Stir Fried Sambal Morning Glory, Crispy Thai Style Beancurd and Seafood Fried Rice, The food is good and service were very prompt. Coupled with that the ambience is good. I will definitely bring my family there.
Food served is fresh and cooked to perfection. Service staff are attentive, prompt and delivered excellent and friendly service. Always a pleasure to dine here at Tao Seafood.
Food & service is of high quality... Very satisfied. Hope they will continue with the set lunch which will benefit more people. Will definitely go again
good food and easy booking. will do that again. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Happy with the service and the food was great. Enjoyed the Crispy Enoki, Thai Chilli Tofu and Stewed Vermicelli. I will frequent Tao Seafood soon.
Excellent food and superb service. Will definitely go back again next time. Their salted egg yolk fish skin and crabs were very yummy. A must try!
Food was great but it was more value for money with the weekend 30% discount promo. RecommendEd dishes are Venison with Foie Gras (can't see or taste foie gras but it was one of the best Venison dish), salted egg fish skin (fresh and crisp) and the braised bee hoon (simple yet very rich and comforting dish).
Food is good quality. Location also easy to find. When is come to there at Friday dinner 7pm. very noise because big group came at the same time.
Went for a Saturday family lunch. Including us, there were only 2 tables occupied which made for a quiet and cosy environment. For me, perfect for a weekend family meal. Service staff were excellent and attentive. Foodwise, for starters - fried fish skin with salted egg sauce was pretty good. A little less oily would be perfect. However, everyone found the jellyfish salad a tad too salty. For mains, the pot roasted crab with glass noodle was excellent. The best dish of the day. The glass noodle, having just the right balance of gentle springy texture and dryness, was infused with flavour of sweet-saltish roasted goodness in tango with balanced peppery notes, all rounded and locked in with hints of crab freshness. We also liked the pot roasted cod much. The pot roasted chicken was alright, not sure why it had signature dish status after tasting it. For the jumbo prawns, the curry sauce was excellent. If it were coupled with prawn flesh that were crunchier and sweeter, it would have been perfect. The prawn itself was actually a little let down. The stir fried asparagus with scallops did its job, nothing to wow about but nonetheless good. Serving portion for a table of 5 was just nice. For big eaters, it may be a little on the less side. Price for the above meal works out to about $40+ per head. That is with a 30% discount over the weekend. Reasonable but not exactly value for money. May eat over there during the weekend again but definitely not on the weekdays unless I'm not the one paying. Haha.
We had the coconut prawns, thai bean curd, morning glory, and seafood vermicelli. Each dish was deliciois enough that I couldnt choose a favorite. The atmosphere was great, the service excellent, though I prefer not to have my teacup refilled every minute when its still 80% full. The portions were large enough and the value was excellent and we left quite ofull. The only thing I might recommend is larger selection, though its better to do a few dishes well than do many poorly. Will definitely consider returning.
Definitely the Best sharks fin in town! White pepper Crabs were meaty , excellent and good value especially with 30% discount off the total bill.
It was a quiet sunday evening. We ordered the pot roasted cod, rice wine chicken, fish skin with salted egg sauce. Additionally, we had their seafood fried rice and stewed rice vermicelli. Thumbs up for all the above dishes! I definitely will return to try their other signature dishes. The staff were attentive too, offering cutlery and service above and beyond the norm.
Great sensibly priced oriental food especially the business set meals. It is a safe choice if you are thinking where to bring your overseas guests for a good meal, posh yet won't burn your Budget.
Environment was chilly, quiet Saturday evening. Service was good. Food can be better, ordered shark's fin, bamboo clams very normal, crab with glass noodles. will come back for crab with glass noodles.
very good and easy...easy reservation, easy login. food at tao was excellent as always with v v good service. hope they add more vegetarian option
Food and ambience was excellent! Should have brought back the white bait fish appetizer. Would go there again for a semi- formal or formal lunch or dinner.
Excellent food, great atmosphere. Service was good and prompt. Waitresses were friendly and made good recommendations. Crab is delicious. Will definitely return there another day.
Ambience is good. Food is delicious. Price is reasonable. Staff needs to put on their smiley face. Will recommend to family and friends. Will go back there again.
Excellent food and the service staff are friendly and attentive. Though the price is on the high side, would definitely go again and recommend friends.
Food was great, portion was great. Just a tad squeezey. May try again in near future. food is something I will return for in future
Pretty delicious! we had the $48++ (entry level) business set lunch. The meal came with 1) bun+chilli crab dip, 2) seafood soup, 3) fried fish fillet, 4) tofu, 5) fried rice and 6) dessert. Every course was well done and left me wanting more. Maybe portions could have been bigger!!
Good service and nice food by the restaurant. Had been to the restaurant previously and usually assigned to the long sharing table. I was very pleased to be able to get a private table for 3 through advance booking. Nice!
Servers were attentive and food was good! 2nd visit and still think that the place is value for money for the service and quality of food.
Excellent food and services! The way the food is served is also very neat. It is a very good venue for Chinese business lunch or casual lunch in Asia Square.
Hassel free reservation system. The food is delicious and tasty, good service too, highly recommended! WIll definitely go back again as all my guests are happy!
Food was good and service was good. The salted egg fried salmon skin was super good! We almost got a second serving for it - but we had ordered a lot of other food and decided against it.
The food is of excellence quality especially the white pepper crab which is not in the menu. The green chilli is awesome too. The atmosphere is ambient. Will definitely visit again.
Good quality food in an nice ambience. Reasonably priced. The 1-1 promotion for the shark fins soup was great but a bigger portion would be nice.
The set lunch was very affordable. Food quality was good too. Place was crowded so make sure you make a booking in advance especially on a weekday.
Our second visit in August and third this year. The crabs are of good quality. We decided that if we will to have crabs, Taos will be place to go.
The shark fin soup was very delicious. The person of the restaurant was friendly in a stylish shop, too. We would like to visit there again.
Delicious chilli crab and yummy yam paste dessert. Recommend for family n friends gathering.
Service and food was reasonable. nice place to dine in.
A very convenient location for me. Enjoyed their variety of food and simple set lunches.
Excellent Services and quite Ambience. In terms of food quality, I would rate 4 and not forgetting the thoughtful service by the staff. Good job.
Easier to make reservation as compared to the other arrogant restaurant nearby.
Easy and simple to use. Makes reservation so much easier.
Food was yummy, service was good. A little pricey though.
Excellent food in a nicely decorated environment and friendly staff. The fish skin, chilli crab, rice wine chicken and pot-roasted cod were very good. Will go again, may be tomorrow, to try the shark fin which looks value for money for such a big portion. It is suitable for family get together lunch or dinner. Parking is easy though a little expensive.
Went for lunch and really enjoyed the food and service. Highly recommended.
Impressed with their service. We ordered a set menu but they were flexible to accommodate minor changes. The food on the other table looks good too! So will visit again soon to try other dishes.
The service and food is excellent! Ask for their white pepper crabs which is not in their menu! Furthermore I like the quiet environment even though is a Saturday!
Decent food. Crab meat could have been firmer. Prices on bill turn out to be higher than menu, but I didn't ask as I was entertaining overseas guests.
