Food was good but service and kitchen were a tad slow...

We ordered several items that i would not recommend: 1. Onion rings - full of batter and minimal onions 2. Kids menu spaghetti meatballs. Meatballs were over cooked and too hard. Kids didn't touch them at all Overall price was not commensurate with the quality of the food but food appeared relatively quickly Would only go back for drinks and skip the kids menu totally.

Great place to go for gatherings or even meetings during lunch time.

I like the environment there, though I din really enjoyed the food as the taste was not to my liking, however I am glad that my daughter and her Boyfriend enjoyed the food. Hence the overall experience was good.

Great food, free parking. The premises felt a little bit worn from all the wear and tear over the years.

Quiet and cosy restaurant for gathering or dining with your friends or love ones. There's live band in the evening! The food (mainly western menu) & drinks (talking about beer here) is nice but a bit costly. Nevertheless, will still visit this place again.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is good and the food are delicious. The service staffs are friendly and quick to respond to request. Will be back to patronize the restaurant again.

Went for brunch after soccer matches at The Grandstand and the food was just ok. I wouldn’t make a special trip there but we were happy enough with what we ordered. The kids meals were not very good...thankfully our kids were happy with fries and the bouncy castle so all was good.

Nice environment and free parking. Food overall is very decent. Service is good. A good place to hold gatherings and do catch up with friends.

Visited the restaurant on a quiet Sunday evening. BBQ Sunday special available. Friendly service and good selection of food options available. Happy hours for drinks were great! Overall, pleasant experience.

I had and lovely and heartwarming evening there. The service was impeccable, food was good and ambience was amazing (music was not too loud and band was good). The floor staff were very proactive to our needs and even made sure the warm water that we were having was always topped up. What I had were the Pulled Pork Nachos, Truffle Mushroom Risotto and Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla ice cream. Would head back there again soon! Thank you for the meal.

Food was delicious but service wasn’t that good. Ordered the sliders and prawn pasta and they were perfectly good and tasty! Slighty over priced but have a wide variety of food!

Live performance was poor. No background music play. Waiter were not attentive and need to be seen to get their attention. Overall, atmosphere was not conducive for a good evening

Good food, ambiance and live music. Can hold big groups, family gathering and kids friendly. There wasn’t much of a crowd like what I have expected.

Very good service. Food is not bad. They have some good sides for sharing if you’re in a group. Pricing is reasonable. The live band makes a difference though.

Please taste the food before serving to the customers. The clam chowder used to be the best I’ve ever tasted, but now it is the worst. It is not worth even half the price. The standard of the food has dropped considerably. I’m sorry but I could not even finish half of it. The plates are not also not cleaned properly and served to the customers.

This is a live band performance on Friday night and good selection of bar food. The chicken wings are quite good with varying levels of spiciness.

Great atmosphere to dine: Huge projector screen to broadcast BPL, 2 dart machines by the side for entertainment, and live band singing to acoustic songs over dinner 👍🏼

Extremely nice ambiance + food! Definitely recommended but just do prepare a small burn in your wallet ✨ Other than that, definitely worth the try once!!!

Food was good. I am not a fan of live bands because they don’t allow good conversation because you have to talk above the music. Service was really bad though. Servers inattentive, hard to catch their eye. Teapot was leaking and even though the teapot was replaced, the service staff had to be asked to wipe up the leak! I even had to go look for my own table because nobody welcomed us at the door to show us to our seats. Staff are clearly overwhelmed and untrained.

Service was very good. Enjoyed the food and deserts. The musicians on Tuesday night were excellent. Lovely singing from Sheena and Jeremiah, coupled with their interesting repertoires, smooth keyboard and guitar playing. It's a tough call, but wish something could be done to help the acoustics of this place.

For us, Spruce has been one of the most frequented brunch spots in town. However, this was the first time we planned for supper in this friendly neighbourhood diner. It being a Friday, the live band (JJ & Sherman) was playing some crowd favourites. While we focused on the food more, the kiddo was kinda mesmerised with the guitar and the music so much so that he complimented the duo with a ‘You sing so well’. By the way, the ‘Bite Me First’ no longer remains a first if you choose to order three because the portion size is generous. Taste is pretty much guaranteed so choose wisely if you intend to sample more variety. Bruce@Firestation has a very comfy and relaxed vibe. They have the al fresco option as well. However, dart boards and music is indoors only. So you’ll perhaps have to go twice or stay longer!

Good food especially the pork and nachos. Unfortunately no live band music on Sunday. The portion is not too big though. Good services staff on duty.

Inside the restaurant is very hot, seem like aircon is not strong enough or not all units are working. Staff are busy, must wait long to get service. Bar countertop is full of used plates and cutlery, very unsightly and unhygienic , should have placed inside kitchen. Lastly cappuccino served without latte art, it would be nice to have. Food is okay.

A nice cosy place with fabulous food, staff were friendly and helpful. The place is located in a quiet place along Upper Bukit Timah, thus it is suitable for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle in the city. There l is also live music that allows one to chill out and enjoy the night.

It is a nice place to meet for a light brunch! Coffee is good and service is fine, at least we are all served at the same time! which is not always the case in Asia. One of the few place where you can still park your car for free!

food is ok. some are great. some not. we went for a surprise birthday dinner. went out of our way to try arrange a birthday candle on desserts we ordered but it was served without candles. that was frustrating.
