Smoke & Mirrors

The venue and the view are superb and the main reason for our return visit. The service wasn't brilliant on the first visit - but we didn't book and they were busy! However today they certainly weren't busy and the service was worse. We asked for a starter to share and 2 main courses - the starter arrived after the main meals! We then waited over 20 mins for ice cream. The table next to us 4 of the 5 people had finished their meals but they had to wait another 20 minutes before the last meal a panini to be served - they said the service was unacceptable and it all just spoiled the ambience of the place. Very keen to sell beers and couldn't remember when I asked fora glass of water. We spent 2 and a hours there - nice not to be rushed - but the time was dictated by the service. We only had prawn toast, fish & chips, ice cream & 2 beers!

Such a poor and bad service...from the arrival through this end. My third time actually. The service never been fantastic but this time was the worst...

Such a shame. Lovely setting n stunning views of Padang n Marina Bay n Financial District. However $20 for small glass of average wine. 4 friends in our group of 6 arrived @7.40 pm - 20 mins before we had to leave for dinner n despite half full bar, staff just aimlessly around, we just couldn't get anyone to take their order n we all left without them getting pre dinner drinks. Rooftop bar at Aura next door was full - n everyone drinking. Wake up Smoke n Mirrors

Full bottle prices unlisted Despite reservations made and waiting out the whole night we were not offered the seats outside even after multiple requests made to the servers. As we exited the restaurant around 11pm, we discovered several empty seats untaken, and disappointed that they were not offered to us. Seats inside the place were uncomfortable, tables were small and low. Our group of 3 was sat awkwardly as the seats were horizontal and for sharing. Server that attended to us was bubbly. Food was great

i love the bar! Service, location, drink, view and atmosphere, everything was great!. My friend also love the place! i will defy visit again! :)

venue was good, but service has much to be improved - we were not informed earlier when we made a booking, that there would be a min spend of $60 if our group had more than 10 people, though we eventually spent way more than that - drinks were slow to come, and their bar did not seem equipped with sufficient drinks. Was not able to do a few mixers that we requested - we ordered a second round of good BEFORE the last order, but the waiter forgot about our order even though we had reminded them twice about the food. Eventually we were not served food because "we missed the last order" - Would have helped if the bar offered complimentary tapas (e.g. olives, nuts, crackers) to match our drinks (we did order quite a few rounds!)

The staff were very helpful , the drink was ok. Not many vegetarian choices. View is great. Have to choose tables carefully as it is quite hot at the back of the bar.

View is impressive, service is friendly, wayfinding to Smoke and Mirrors needs improvement because its very strange to come up from basement via Lobby A and needing to cut through another restaurant (Aura) to get to the bar.

Perfect night out after viewing the national gallery. Highly recommended. Though the rooftop experience will not come cheap.

View was great! Nice place to chill and hang out. But service and food isn't great at all. The nicest bar food was the tofu skin. The salted egg yolk chix wings were too over fried and the beef cubes were drenched in too much Hoi Sin sauce

nice view, nice bar food, service was slow though. drinks was good if u dont mind the price. would recommend to bring new friends here

Really wonderful view from Smoke & Mirrors, from very comfortable chairs. Very nice experience. Only slight negative was the high price of the drinks and slightly slow service. But, overall, very enjoyable.

Location fab, views spectacular, food average with way too many fried items on the menu, with little variety. Service was very poor, had to asked to be waited on every time and it took a Long time for orders to be served.

We had a very good time at smoke& mirrors with family coming from overseas. The panorama is just amazing at night-club and cocktails are always délicious.
