It was a pleasant lunch experience dining at the restaurant, the staffs were friendly.

Service was prompt and efficient, but no longer has the personal and attentive feel the izakaya used to have when it started. The grilled gyutan was perfectly sliced and really made our night. The kaki furai was fried for a but too long, and the camembert zucchini was served to us cold. The mentaiko iwashi was left too long on the grill as well. The skewers we ordered before the restaurant started to fill were grilled well and were really tasty. Please bring the grilled kawa back. We enjoyed the featured sake very much.

Decent selection and variety. Taste is what you’d expect of an Izakaya. Staff is helpful on sake recommendation.

Had lunch with a Friend. We both had the stuffed squid with egg which wasn’t bad. Service was extremely pleasant. Good value for money.

Food was ok. The gyu tongue came cold, was seated outside, had to keep trying to get the staff's attention. Hot tea was not refilled. Must have been a busy night.

Dinner food was very good although the portions were a bit small. Which made the meal quite expensive. Service was prompt and exceptional.

The Japanese setting and layout was very nice. A cozy set up nestled in Stanley Street. Staff and service was good. Lunch menu was a bit limited.

Good sake, good food, good ambience and good customer service!

Great food & great vibe, however, bad customer service. The staff rarely come by at our table outside. We asked a staff to refill our water but instead of simply refill the water, the staff literally slammed another cup of water on the table and quickly walk away. The skewers took 1 hour plus to be ready — just wish we were informed before ordering.

They’re incredibly busy because the food is good. We ordered everything with mentaiko and a few of the dons. Because they’re so busy the waiter got the order wrong and gave us tuna don instead of salmon don. However, we stuck with the wrong order and it turned out great! The standard of food is consistently good regardless of what you order, apart from the cheese with honey and tomato which all of us found overpowering. Service is decent. Although they may not always get it right, they try very hard.

Best dish: oden and fermented squid. Weirdest? The mentaiko rosti.

One of my go-to places for Japanese food, the quality of the food is always top notch and everything is good value for money. Losing count of the number of times I’ve eaten here!
