Great ambience, used to visit there quiet often. But the salmon sushi I used to order is quiet disappointed this time, the size is smaller compared to the previous times , and it does not place it properly. Quiet disappointed as it was my friend first visit there.

Great ambience, food is ok, but can be better based on the price.

First time there and was amazed at the quality and variety of food. Very spoilt for choice from the spread of izakaya skewers to the specialty sushi rolls to the dons and udons. Will defiantly go back !

Visited Shin Kushiya on a quiet Monday evening for dinner. Had the festive set with skewers and Chirashi. The Chirashi was filling and had generous slices of sashimi but the skewers and egg dish wasn't as good as when I last visited years ago, the skewers weren't juicy and tasty while the egg had a strange taste. The ambience of the restaurant was great, suitable for a quiet discussion. I was pleased to be able to hear what my friend was saying. At the price though, I'd expected more from the food.

The BBQ was very good on this visit, we like all the food served.

Taste is not so bad. Beer 1 for 1 is good at lunch.

Overall ok. But the garlic rice took very long to serve (in fact we have to ask for it when we almost finished all the food served). And the garlic rice tasted butterish and not garlic.

Service was excellen, food was on a slightly pricey side. Skip the mentaiko pasta, probably not suited to my tastebuds

We were immediately ushered into the restaurant with our booking from Quandoo. Service was prompt. Food is average but presentation is nice. I ordered the ladies set which cost ~$27++ with only 2 mini sushi, 1skewer of pork & 1skewer of thin pork wrap tomatoes, 1 chawanmushi, 3 slices salmon sashimi and 2 watermelon is kinda of over-priced. We also ordered the Bara Chirashi Don & Salmon Unagi Don. I will not come for the food but the quick service is good if you are in rush for dinner.
