friendly staff with helpful recommendations as it's my friend and i's first visit. food portion is bigger than hdl, bitp with prices being in same range, the half portion is almost like full portion in other brands. soup base (we had sichuan mala, collagen and tomato base) not that fantastic, but it gets more flavourful with time. aircon blows directly above our heads, so bring a jacket (colder on a rainy day). they have a bag holder for bags, but no cover, so it stinks slightly on clothes. overall, it is still a good experience. will come back for the portion of food.

Good price and flavorful soup. The restaurant is behind Bangkok Jam, slightly hidden so if arriving via Esplanade mrt it will be closer to walk to.

Personally I think the food is better than Haidilao but it's a bit pricy than it, maybe because we visited during COVID period, we have to separate four people by two tables.

Was our 2nd time here and we would have loved to say we enjoyed it but this round was very different. Service was very terrible. The food qty vastly differed from the first time. Weird portioning.
