Shabestan, Finest Persian Restaurant

The food was excellent and the service professional. However, all this comes at a price which is a bit steep. Nevertheless, certainly a restaurant worth going to.

Great food consistently including many vegetarian options. Its location provides a nice ambience if you sit outside. Dishes are a little pricey though. Service is fabulous!

We chose a table outside and despite out complaints the hostess has opened the cover even though it was still raining.

Shabestan is a very nice restaurant. Good location, good staff and very nice food. Appetisers , kebabs and salads were good. However, the drinks are overpriced and the quality is so-so. But overall, the experience is enjoyable.

Excellent food. Well marinated, tender meat. Home made taste of dips and bread. Excellent wine selection at reasonable prices. Sunday a la carte buffet style brunch menu is very affordable at 39++

I have been to Shabestan for dinner on many occasions and the food has been consistently good. However, something needs to be done to improve on the aircondition which has been consistently bad.

The Persian food was very authentic, and everything was delicious. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed the belly dancer, it was unexpected.

We had a wonderful time at Shabestan last night. We sat outdoors and had a lovely view of the river. The food and service were very good.

The restaurant was in a good location, and had great service in the riverside ambience and good range on the menu. We especially liked the lamb kebab, hummus, okra curry and pistachio ice cream.

Location is good and ambience pleasant, though the food is overpriced and the service quite inconsistent. We had a good time overall, though felt we overpaid for what we got.

Food is nice and good but very hard to call for service. The eyes of the waiters not always around. Better to improve the service.

Authentic persian cuisine prepared at a mid-top tier class. Prices can be at the high-end, however quality is not compromised. Time will tell, but hopefully the restaurant will maintain that its value

When we arrived the staff were too busy, not that they were under-staffed but they are just not eager to receive guest. That surely needs to be improved. Nevertheless, food was awesome.

Food quality has deteriorated. Humus was just okay. The Mixed Grill Platter (beef/ chicken) and Chicken Persian Rice both seemed slightly bland, especially the latter. Not as per previous experiences.

Loved the location, the atmosphere, the service, and the food, especially the chicken with bones dish. As tender as it gets. Also ask for tahdig (crispy rice).

The AC in the indoor dining area is a bit warm. The waiter who was shouting out orders was too noisy but generally place is good and food is good too

The Sunday buffet is an interesting concept. The food is decent and service is generally good, but definitely would have preferred for a larger list of options and also for food to be served quicker.

The food was great and we enjoyed all that we ordered. They even obliged with a brownie for a birthday treat. The service can be improved though. Cashier took a long time with the payment.

Thefood was Amazing. The service was really great as well! The manager himself ensured all our food was served properly and gave us different recommendations. We were also given complementary dessert.

Excellent customer service by the team. Very attentive and good food. Waiting time can be improved given that there were not a lot of people present but overall good experience.

The dinner with the family was to celebrate my Wife's birthday. Overall the location and ambiance were great. The food was outstanding. I am a vegetarian and found that they had enough choice for me :-) The staff were very attentive and even brought out a cake for my wife at the end of the meal. This cake was not the normal simple one like at other restaurants. The cake was small but actually very very good and was one of the highlights of the dinner. The only negative was the loud music during the belly dancing. The staff did apologise for the noise though. Overall a fantastic experience

Tonight was our 4th time at Shabestan. Each time we have experienced very nice and friendly staff as well as excellent food. Our friend we had invited this evening said - this is the best food I have had in Singapore.

Very good food, very good meat (lamb, chicken) quality. Yet a bit too expensive. A pity that the bar nearby is a bit too loud too
