Saveur - The Cathay

It used to be really value for money at the first outlet when they started at far east. It still offers decent food but standards may not he maintained though.

Food was excellent - tried the duck Confit burger for the first time and it was excellent! Lotsa ingredients. Had their all famous savuer pasta too and it never fails!!

Food was delicious and we were efficiently served. Only thing that can be improved is the quality of the fries which I’ve paid an additional $3 but received stale fries.

My companion said that the duck confit was dry, and comparing to a chinese roast duck the roast duck will be more delicious. This branch of Saveur has very bad air circulation, i will not patronize this outlet again. Original store near Bugis is better for cleaner air.

I have always enjoyed great food at Saveur and this time I went with my friend for a casual gathering. Great place to hang out with friends with great food. Service was great and prompt as well!

The ambience is soothing and good but the air conditioning is not strong. Tend to be stuffy at times. The food variety is quite a lot.

The Saveur Cathay outlet is much more spacious as compared to the other Saveur outlets and with a slightly different menu. The food here maintains its standard too. Recommend this outlet!

Nice food will definitely go back and patronize again. Has ordered dinner set menu with some top up and it was a pleasant dinning experience.

A quiet ambience for catching up with friends and the food is filling

This was my another experience of Saveur and it’s just “okay”. I think ambiance is much more cozy in Pavis St restaurant rather than here.

Ordered the duck confit and seabass. The food was nice with relaxing ambience. However the air con not strong enough perhaps due to the open kitchen concept.

Service was great, but the duration for the food to be served to us (upon ordering) took about 40 to 50 minutes. Overall, it’s still a pleasent experience.

Place was stuffy, probably due to faulty aircon. Ordered the valentine set and thought the baguette came with the lobster bisque, but instead was charged for it. Overall, it was acceptable.

The place is cosy, the food is great! Try their duck confit, duck meat was tender! Regretted not trying their signature duck burger but the pasta was not bad too

We booked a table for 9 pax. The ambience was suitable for group gathering. The service was good and the dishes were served relatively fast.

The restaurant serves Very nice food at reasonable price. However the decoration looks like a fast food restaurant and we were sitting in the direct setting sun and soaking in all the cooked smell.

We had 4 different mains, which all were up to Saveur’s standard, only the truffle fries could be done better, not rich enough When we were settling our bill one of the waitress told us UOB card enjoys certain percentage of discount but when the bill came back with the the amount, the discount was not reflected and we had to advise again on it (two different staffs serving the bill)... and took awhile to void the charge to redo the settlement again

Food was fresh and tasty. We have requested for the corner seat which was really chill and spacious! We would definitely revisit at some point :)

Food was mediocre. Had two desserts there as well, wasnt something extraordinary and the portion was really small. Overall good dining experience but the food fall short of expectations.

Good, but can be better if the waitresses are more attentive rather than huddling together and chatting most of the time.

The food quality was high but we waited 20mins for the saveur pasta to arrive with no updates in between. We had to enquire whether the kitchen missed our order and it was only then they checked and assured us that it was coming. Our duck confit arrived with 5 mins of ordering so I wish they had taken the initiative to let us know the status.

Menu selection was good. The food taste great. Ordered the salmon confic, beef bourguinon, chilli crab squid ink pasta. Will definitely revisit again with my hubby again.

Pleasant and simple dining. Decent duck confit at a affordable price. Service is ok, location is easily accessible. Will return to try other items on the menu.

Second visit to Saveur@The Cathay. Duck Confit is always my choice and i always find it savory. Servers seemed busy on that Fri and seemed in a hurry to clear our requests.

Food was great, lobsters were really fresh and tasty. Wish that lobsters weren’t on a limited menu though. Service and ambience was excellent. Highly recommended!
