The greeting was great, especially when I had made a mistake in my reservations. However, once you reach the restaurant, no one was there to greet you. The staff seems to be unaware of what's going on. They were also not very proactive in serving you. You have to keep requesting for things. They also forget my drinks. The high tea was normal, nothing fantastic.

Great food as usual. Good service. Great view. Barrumundi fresh and sweet. Loved the charred grilled octopus. Love the new liquorice dessert and molten chocolate is fantastic.

Lunch menu was surprisingly good value. Nice views in a comfortable environment. Quality all round. This was my second time and won't be my last!

Poor attention from waiters, we waited for more than half an hour for a chilli sauce... Waiter totally forgotten and couldn't care less. Food so so

Good food, we were happy with the snapper and the barramundi.. Happy hour til 7.30pm. Lovely view of orchard road, shld avoid during rainy weather if you're there for the view..

Ordered sydney crab omelette, truffle fries and their market fish which comes with prawns and clams (fish bones were removed! :)). Everything was yummy except for the fries. Great ambience. We were there early and caught both sunset and night views. Staffs were attentive and polite. Left a message during reservation for the chef to write a birthday note on my fiance's dessert and all went well. Will be back again for special occasion!:) did not pay extra for the window seat though I read some reviews saying it costs $20.

(1) Fobbing the food menu before being asked what we would like to drink (and the waiter being less than helpful when asked if we could order a drink), (2) the maitre d' enabling other diners to treat the establishment like a family resort (noisy kids running around who had to be politely spoken to by said maitre d' - not the parents, the kids) and (3) courses arriving too quickly and yet still achieving cold and remarkably soggy fries.

Great staff, view and food. Lunch set is at a reasonable price for the total experience. You must walk through the children's museum to find the dedicated lift to the restaurant.

The view was breathe-taking. Food is above average. Would have been better if the serving is bigger. Overall a place to bring a date to impress her.

Service was below standard. When asked staff if there is any wet tissue, the staff said they are able to give us tissues that are being watered. It's a shame to us, we will be pleased if staff is able to let us kindly know that there is no wet tissue, instead of giving us tissues being watered. I hope the management is able to do something with their service. Thanks.

Service was slow and the server was not very attentive to what we asked her. Good view made up for the food quality. Might not be going back again.

Great view. Good ambience beforea group of about 20 people arrive for dinner. The food was great too, especially the sirloin steak and wagyu steak we ordered.

Up at 55/F with a brilliant view over looking the city, lovely bar corner with nice drinks selection. Good venue for small gathering or even business meetings.

My family and I enjoyed very much during our universary. The romantic atmosphere with beautiful scenery from 55th floor is a wonderful experience and I believe everyone will feel the same too!!

Was celebrating my hubby birtday at level 55. We have a window seat table, nice night view :) We ordered 'glass' as appetizer, main dish for each, quite full! Lastly we hv a chocolate fondant as dessert, rich chocolate, love it!

This is my second visit and the staff were friendly as usual and helpful with special arrangements. They made sure that every arrangement was understood and carried out the way i requested to. Food was tasty and the truffle fries were fantastic! It will be great if the dessert menu could be expanded to prolong every table's stay and enjoy the view. Definitely a place worth coming back.

Awesome birthday celebration done in salt grill. The Venison was perfectly done with the rare parts being really tender. Waitress were friendly too. My friend had enjoyed herself and the window seat was good.

Good service. kinda disappointed about the foods. a bit too salty in generally n so so for such price. too dark. especially looking at the menu list.

Overall a quite good diner and service level. However waiting time between dishes was a bit long and our choice of wine was not available

ordered the barramundi fillet and the rump steak. portion for steak is small, but deliciously soft. had a medium rare. for fillet, it taste normal. ordered oysters as well. splendid n sweet.

The food is average, but the view is nice. Perhapsthey can provide more set menue choices in order to attrach more younger working class people.

Salt & Grill is only worth for the view, nothing more. To charge such a premium price n require a minimum spent should be followed by food n drinks of certain quality, not just fancy names. What a shame!

We ordered oysters natural ½ dozen (super small!), Seared foie gras, pine nut crust, scallops, fig, brioche (not bad), Sirloin 250g Rangers Valley, New South Wales, 300 days grain fed, cauliflower puree, vanilla fig, date & orange salad (the beef is cold!), Wagyu cut of the day (again the beef is cold!), Mashed potato (not bad), Australian mixed leaf salad, verjuice dressing (so so) - Drinks - we ordered: 2011Yering Station Village (glass, tasteless) Another glass of wine (can't remember the name, a bit better compare to the above one but still tasteless)

Food is Average but Service is very good and the view is nice. A good relax place for a lazy Sunday afternoon after shopping in Orchard road.

Everything was amazing accept I'm quite disappointed that I have to asked for a picture and a complimentary cake and that lady I spoke to was a Caucasian, she replied me in a attitude way which I dint expect that as most of the staff were friendly and nice. And the lady that served us the complimentary cake serve us with a attitude like as if we are asking too much. I didn't know that there were such thing for dining guest until I saw a couple next to our table got it and my partner wasn't happy that we didn't have one until I aprroched the staff. When I made the reservation I did mentioned I'm celebrating 1st anniversary with my partner. Other than that, everything was good.

excellent views. set menu for lunch is brilliant value. wine on offer with the set menu was reasonably priced. Food delicious and well presented, service was of a very high standard. would highly recommend.

Was here for Sunday afternoon tea View and service was great But afternoon tea was just meh. If you're here for the view, its definitely worth it. But if you're here for some good tea and afternoon bites, you might be better off somewhere else. Perhaps, dinner service would be better?

The food and service was superb. I had the best fillet steak ever and the sides were of generous servings. My children enjoyed the children's menu. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. My family enjoyed our dinner experience At Salt and will definitely be back.
