Food was great, atmosphere was great, service was great. Would love to visit again!

The food was ok, the ambience casual but the waitress was absolutely clueless. I already made a reservation for 2 but when I arrived, she said something to the effect that they already have a reservation for 2, and if I was adding 2 more people. I had absolutely no idea what she meant. I even showed her my reservation confirmation on email but she did not appear to understand. Eventually, she referred me to her colleague. What baffled me the most is that I already had the reservation in black and white, showing clearly the number of diners and arrival time, but yet, she either chose to ignore it or did not want to take the time to read.

Had a very pleasant dinner here and enjoyed their great spread of japanese food. Fish was done very well. We sat in a really quiet corner even though the Izakaya was filled with people and we could hear ourselves throughout the meal.

Nice Japanese izakaya style restaurant. happy hour up to 7:30 pm, half price, but only draft beer, but still worth it. While food was good and reasonable, I really liked that the price for bottle of shochu was also very reasonable (SGD 65-80) which is quite rare in Singapore with this level of izakaya.
