Ambience was alright, but food was always good :) worth a try!

There are good variety of healthier choice rice selection. The multi grain rice are soft and easy to consume.

The seasonal menu of fried oysters from Hiroshima is so fresh, so lightly battered unlike other places where you can feel the flour coating. Highly recommended!

Authentic Japanese food. Love their grilled fish, be it saba or any other type of fish, always fresh & nicely grilled. I try to dine at Ootoya once a month.

my family and I had lunch at Changi City Point and was disappointed with the food. Saw good reviews but think it doesn’t apply to Changi City Point. I would rate the food 2/10

First time trying out this place/brand, am presently surprised of the nutritional value offered. Grabbed a lunch set and the sweet sour fish dish was colourful. 2 pieces of each vegetable variety made a nutritious diet, coupled with the sides on the set meal tray.

We have ordered these on few visits. This time round, the portion of pork belly and mini tara were relatively lesser compared to prior visits.

Food is great with friend's recommendation and ambience is fine with bright lighting. Hope to see that the service can be better and faster next time.

Food was great as usual, maybe better with Quandoo. Go for their udon or grilled items, it is a must have for lunch/ dinner anytime.

My fave Japanese restaurant serving authentic Jap food. We enjoyed the delicious spread of food ordered... hokke/ Charcoal grilled fish, karaage, mini tara, belly pork,.. Each item was prepared just right.

Seated outside at corner along passage way. No tissue n cutlery set on table. Waited very long after placing order for 2. Food was served to customers who arrived later than us.

The restaurant layout is simple. Japanese food selection was okay. The staff are friendly and quick to respond to services. It is not crowded and not too noisy as well.

Very disappointed meal ever. No taste of soup and stranger taste of pickle. This is not Japanese food. We could not finish eating all foods.

The location of the restaurant is easy to find as it's very near the entrance and escalator. There were both in restaurant seating and outside at the entrance if u feel like a change. The staff were neatly attired and helpful when prompt questions. Would love to visit again soon

The restaurant wasn't crowded as usual. Tried the new dish - spicy chicken, it was lightly flavoured and refreshing. All the dishes I've tried here are healthy and delicious. Will certainly return!

Delicious food with child friendly amenties. Love the steak and chawamushi. Dessert is impressive as well. Highly recommended for family with young children as food is suitable for kids too

I enjoyed the varieties added to the menu. Recommended and brought my friend for lunch yesterday. Enjoyed grilled hokke fish. My second try for this dish.

We order the beef steak, pork belly n breaded pork cutlet set meals. The food was delicious n well cooked. Had an enjoyable lunch. Will come again.

I've always enjoyed Octoya. It now has many more nice new varieties added to the menu. Enjoy the chicken, fish main courses and side dishes.

Happy to see that I got 18 points for my J Passport after having a wonderful lunch with my ex-colleagues. The Beef Steak comes with chawanmushi, miso Soup and rice is a complete set of Meal. The iced green tea is so refreshing.

My go to for comfort food. Consistently good food, served fast with good service. My favourites are the tara kurozu and the grilled chicken salad. Keep up the good work!
