Had not been to Megumi since their move from East Coast Road. Just as good if not better in some ways, e.g., a larger premise. The staff's great and attentive. The menu is bigger with more options. One more gripe though, I think the old Unagi Fried Rice was better, more fragrant and gingery... otherwise all's good, still.

Food quality was good & most importantly service was nice. Ambience wise not as conducive as the tables were rather close to each other so not much privacy.

Always a pleasure coming here for some comfort quality japanese food. Prices are mid range for their portion sizes as compared to some competitors but great experience for our group of 8

I was already eating at Megumi when they were located at Upper East Coast road. Great food, lovely service. The new ambience in Joo Chiat is better due to the more spacious seatings.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in this area, absolutely loving the fresh and quality ingredients. Not the cheapest meals, but definitely value for money!

I’ve been visiting Megumi since it was along East Coast Road. Meals there have always been satisfying!! We greatly enjoyed the sashimi, especially the butterfish!! The gyoza was good, too... thin-skinned and fresh ingredients. For us, the prawn tempura is a bit of a ‘miss’; a little bland compared to everything else we had. Regardless, thank you for another lovely meal. Will definitely be back!! :))

Great Japanese food and service at Megumi during our first visit. We had crab don and kaiseiki don paired with a seafood nabe and enjoyed all our dishes. Nice and comfortable ambience too, will definitely be back again!
