Manbok Chinatown Korean BBQ & Steamboat Restaurant

Went without any expectations. Overall decent experience. Food was alright, some of the items were not bad. The grill has to be changed constantly as it burns out pretty fast. But props for staff for being quick with the change. Just abit annoying to have to constantly have a grill change.

-value for money -ambience is good -service is very good, they clear the hotplate almost every 15mins or so, impressive -although spread is limited, they are fresh. -location is good -their cooked chicken wing is very delicious -will definitely go back

love the seafood range, but can be better if the clams can be refilled! october was sooool gooood n fresh :)

It was great. Accommodated a big group of people who were hungry, and everything was clean and neat. Food was great and felt fresh to eat.

Good place to go if you have time to slowly enjoy the food with the family or friends. Value for money. Parking is a problem though.

Overall good and prompt service. many meat variety. Good for big groups. Especially like the ready cooked fried chicken as the marinated sauce is nice

I will recommend Friend over for dining that BBQ place is a monthly dining place for me n my fellow Friend. Great place and staff there is friendly n boss there knows us well. 😀

The variety is not much as compare to other restaurants that does Korean BBQ but the service was good and we enjoyed it very much

Good spread of food, drinks and ice-cream. $27++ for Fri dinner. Army stew paste provided for the soup if u fancy having a spicy one.

Staffs were friendly and attentive. They constantly offered to change our grill pan. Spread is decent with free flow of drinks. Price is reasonable too.

Good Service. Though the varieties not as much as its neighbour, the meat are well seasoned & food are fresh. It is nice to make our own army stew with the sauce they provided.

The food is fresh. Like their marinated pork, bacon wrapped with mushroom & octopus. Setting is good. Not cramp. The service staff are very attentive & approachable.

Tad expensive. Great service, prompt in clearing plates n friendly. Fresh food. Can have more varieties for steamboat. Marination is a tad sweet too. Really enjoyed the cooked chicken wings. Will be great if its available for lunch too. Thanks for an enjoyable dinner.

Great service, food was fresh, selection was wide though cooked food portion was mostly spicy - not very child friendly. Items were replenished often. Very good meal I had there.

Pleasant exp, responsive waiters and fresh marinated food. Comes with a grill and soup - rare to find in a korean bbq outlet. Overall satisfied.

The food is pretty good, the staff is friendly. The small steamboat pot where you can make your own spicy soup is a nice touch. If they can include barely tea/ water or some sugarless drink that would be better. At 32SGD for a Friday dinner is pretty good value

Still one of the best Korean Bbq place in town. The Korean fried Chicken wing is to die for. In my opinion much better than those selling Korean fried chicken as the main dish.

Generous spread of meats and seafood. Well marinated n tasty when grilled. Veg for d wraps v fresh. Soup for steamboat tastes good even on its own n also as base for army base. Staff were friendly n attentive ... always made sure we had clean grill plates n checked on d fire when it looks too hot n quick to clear away used plates. Will definitely come again

Was attended immediately once I enter the restaurant n was guided to ny table. Selection of food quite okie but meats were good slightly above average the marinated pork collar was the best juicy n tender,seafoods were fresh especially the prawn and the cooked food chicken wings win our heart very tasty very addictive. The pancake was nice but only get to serve 1 time as they cook on the spot and limited plate. Service was very good they keep changing the char grill to a new grill and clear away empty plates. The ambience okie clean but furniture look old to me. Ventilation okie, restaurant was already full at 8pm, dun really smell strong BBQ smell but still smell of BBQ on your hair n clothes once u get out of the restaurant. Over all we have a great time dining there.

Food marinated well, full of flavour. The highlight has got to be the chicken wings! Cooked in small batches, they are a combination of sweet and savoury and will definitely hit the spot if you have a fried chicken craving!

Price is reasonable and service standard is acceptable. Food quality and varieties are satisfied. Nice place for small group casual gatherings. I enjoy the little fellowship with food for the night.

We been there a times and its always full. When they get us table and we have to finish fast for the next reservation. Now using this booking system, I find it great that we manage to get a table and we can eat and enjoy the food without rushing.
