Visited Maguro Brothers with my colleagues on Valentine’s Day. I like all the food, especially the grilled Maguro ribs. For those who have not tried this dish, give it a try!

Really nice food if you love maguro. Maguro cheek sashimi was interesting with their own special dipping sauce. The other foods were good also like their chicken nanban and their appetisers for sharing. Service as the restaurant was friendly and efficient too but can be noisy when the restaurant is packed.

Tuna is fresh. Great food. But the service need to be improved a bit more. The staff who took our order did not write down all our orders. Understand it may be the restaurant rules for staff to memorise the menu and orders. But if u r new and still unsure, he shd hv noted it down. Ended he missed 1 of our sushi order. The senior staff did come to explain that the staff who took our is new and we were ok. This is just to feedback for future improvement.

My husband and I had the set lunch, where we both ordered the hon maguro toro sashimi (3 thick but short slices) and maguro ribs. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes, especially the latter (finger-licking good). The only downside was that the portion was rather small and given that we are small eaters, this is saying much. We wanted to order the tuna cheeks as a supplement, but it was sold out. Nonetheless, highly recommended!
