Went there to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Delicious nostalgic Cantonese cuisine! Service is excellent.

Have not visited the Lai Wah for last 5 years. Had a family dinner there. Ordered a set meal for 4-5 persons and added a yam ring with chicken. It was very crispy and good. Brought back good memories of wedding dinners in the seventies. Steam fish was good but I was a bit disappointed with the kai lan chicken. Think some hawkers cook better white Chicken. More smooth and succulent than theirs. Prices were reasonable.

Kind of disappointed over the food served in this restaurant. The steamed chicken is tasteless (yet it is one of the dishes under the chef's recommendation). Tea is not hot, service not professional. They allow children to run around, playing with noisy toy guns! Did not enjoy the meal there.

Food and service were great. We got seated promptly after our reservation was found. Our server allowed us to switch out a dish in the set menu without any extra charge. All the dishes came in quick succession. Could have had a lazy Susan to make it easier to share the food in a large round table.
