Brought Aussie friends here and they loved the chilli crabs and cereal prawn. A local coffeeshop with no aircon(except for large bookings). We chose to sit indoors for the fan as it was rather humid outdoors. Overall a good local experience

With the reservation we were brought to our seats very quickly. The salty egg chilli crab was mice. The food presentation too. The serving was fast. The last time I was at the restaurant 10 years ago, the food was much bette then.

Some part of the Roasted chicken was salty. Platter for three was oily. Staff just ordered medium without telling me when we have only 5 guests ending up lots of balance for those medium ones.

1. We were being arranged to seat in the aircorn room but when we walk in its looks old and the wall so dirty beside this there were this an unpleasant strong smell making us rather seat non-aircorn. My family cannot take it while we were waiting for our foods to be serve we feedback to the waitress 2. Er ..chili crab too starchy not worth the price we paid.. 3. We ordered Loh-han vegetables didn't expect cook like zhup-cai, anyhow most dishes taste salty, we consume a lot of water after the lunch, we were recommended by a friend about this restaurant to celebrate my mom birthday...really disappointed

First visit here so dont really know what to order, hence asked the boss for some recommendations. Ended up ordering the coffee pork rib which we loved very much because it was very rich and well marinated, and some other zi char dishes. The fish was very fresh importantly!

I heard about this restaurant from World's 50 best Restaurant Instagram account. They award this restaurant as the best chilli crab in Singapore. However, when my friends and I went there, the chili crab is sweet, not hot and lack of salt. The worst thing is the crab is not that fresh. The crab shell is very hard and the meat is overcooked with large fiber. Overall, I didn't really enjoy it maybe because I got a high expectation of this place and it turned out just a regular hawker center food.

Price is reasonable, food is really good except the moonlight hor fun, many said it is a must-try dish but the taste is worse than normal hor fun in my opinion. 5 adults with 1 toddler, we send about $350 SGD with 2 plates of crab. By the way, im not sure if its always the case but the crabs we had that day is only 900 grams. wish there were bigger crabs.

saw a dead rat near the drain. Staff promptly removed away. Good customer service & able to make recommendation to us when ordering the dishes.

Overall, the visit was pleasant. I asked for aircon room but was not given. Fortunately today was a rainy day, it was cooling outside. I think they should at least explain why they couldn't heed to our request. Food was delicious and yummy. My guest were happy and enjoying the food. Noise is inevitable as it is a coffee shop. If staff put on smile, it would be great. You'll score 85%.

Brought an old friend there. It was her 1st time there. She enjoyed the food. The price n quality were commendable. Told me that she enjoyed the meal n will be back.

Good and friendly service, food generally taste good too. Although did not managed to get air conditioning seats but coffeeshop is not as warm due to multiple fans within the shop.

We arrived early before our reservation time, the staff was very nice about it and told us we could get a table in 5 minutes. Service and food was all up to standard. We will be back!

Do reservation for weekends meal period and especially if big group, they are normally very packed from Fri-Sun nights (been mostly for dinner), big space, cooling environment, very family oriented.
