Food and ambience is great! Friendly staff who are ever ready to help with smiles.

Prochetta and Schiacciata were good as usual. This time we tried the mixed fish/seafood platter which was recommended but really nothing to shout about.

Always enjoyed dinner in this restaurant with my family over good food.

We had an small issue about two on the pasta portions (size-wise) out of 6 pasta dishes the group had ordered. One (an alio oglio) pasta portion was really small. The chef replaced it by a new one without hesitation. The replaced dish was however not actually visibly more in terms of quantity. We wondered whether the 110grms of noodles (the owner had informed us was the norm) were in fact what was served.

All turned out well. Food was good, service was excellent and portions sufficient for sharing. Will be nice if the restaurant can give a complimentary slice of cake for the birthday boy. The restaurant should also look into the water leaking from the air con unit. Overall, good, will return.

did a detour to this place post a bukit timah hike and came hungry. food portions definitely hit the mark but some dishes were a miss. the truffle schiacciata was great though can be cloying with the cheeses so best to share. we ordered a special weekend dish of some meat stuffed ravioli with marsala sauce but found the edges of the ravioli way too thick and the sauce too sweet. the beer braised beef was also tough and not enjoyable. pistachio tiramisu remains a hit as a classic dessert reinterpreted

Had a wonderful dining experience here, especially on a bustling Christmas Eve with a full house — and honestly, the food made every minute of waiting completely worthwhile. We ordered the Schiacciata Romana, Garganelli Callera, and the Grigliata di Pesce, and every single dish was mind-blowing. From the beautifully baked schiacciata to the rich, comforting pasta and the perfectly grilled seafood platter, the flavours were spot on and executed with care. Yes, there was a wait for the food due to the festive crowd, but it never felt frustrating. The staff were attentive and thoughtful throughout — regularly refilling water, promptly clearing plates, and checking in on us, which made the experience feel warm and well-taken care of. A place where great food, good service, and the right festive atmosphere come together. Definitely worth the wait, and I’d happily return again. 🍝🐟✨

My first time @ iO Italian restaurant ; my friend who lives at Hillview raced about this restaurant. I had baked pork belly with stuffed herbs as the appetizer and shrimp tagnolini love the originality of both dishes ; the pasta has tasty and fresh seafood sauce from the shrimps , pasta is fresh and well presented. Very tasty and good value. I highly recommended to my family and friends! Will return to try more dishes

Packed as usual on a Saturday night. Food was good as before. Had the pizza platter, lasagna and fried seafood platter. Despite the crowd, food was served without too long waiting times.
