Imakatsu - Star Vista

Had a pretty good experience at the restaurant. Food was not bad. Ambience was nice too. Would revisit again.

Food is still good but wished that they do not charge a dollar for ice or warm water

First visit to Imakatsu to celebrate hubby’s birthday. The service level at the restaurant is great (despite only having 2 servers)! Staff are great in helping to store and bring in the birthday cake we brought to the restaurant after the meal. The food is delicious and we like the free flow of cabbage and rice, which is a good perk! Will certainly visit again.

Tried the premium loin tonkatsu with curry and was not disappointed. Meat was really tender and was not chewy. However the curry sauce was only lukewarm. Would have been great if the sauce was piping hot. Cabbage is yummy and is free flow.

We waited a while for the food although the restaurant wasn’t very busy early evening. We ordered 4 rice dishes and 1 Nabe Udon. The udon was overcooked and when the soup dried up when it was served.

It was a generally great experience. Nice service provided by the staff and they provided a free dessert for my brother’s birthday which was very thoughtful! The food in general wasn’t anything super fantastic but is still decent, might be on the pricey side

Meat was a little dry. Cabbage was not cut finely enough and not as sweet as it should be. Nevertheless the service was good and attentive.

Won over by the fresh cabbage served with roasted sesame dressing and the many choices of dishes! Loved the miso pork loin and will be back for it on a day when I am hungry!!! It was so good I couldn’t stop eating….

Find myself back here again for the nicely fried pork katsu and free flow cabbage, recommended. Seems to be getting pricier over the last few years

Restaurant was not crowded on a Wednesday evening as compared to Friday. We ordered the platter set for four n added another main. We noted restaurant hsd downsize the usual cabbage salad thst is free flow. Nevertheless it tastes as good with the usual roasted Sesame sauce. Overrall experience was good

Can’t go too far wrong with the pork loin. Within expectations for the price point.
