food was great but i think better experience if you could sit right in front of the sushi chef. we had a seat that was at the corner of the sushi counter and was served food by the waitress instead of the chef

Fantastic experience. Nice food and ease of booking made it even better. This is how all reservations should be done. Go for it always. Yippee

The food was high quality but did not "wow" - it's a tough job - top Japanese restaurants have to walk the fine line of being innovative yet traditional. Hashida tended to stick to more traditional dishes with safe offerings of tofu/bean curd skin and chawanmushi for starters. Wife and I both agreed that we would have enjoyed the toro sushi better if it wasn't served as a "roll" - by which I mean that the chef carved thin slices carpaccio style, then roll it around a small sushi-serving rice ball. We would much prefer a big slice of toro anyday please. Was also slightly disappointed that the uni served for the Chirashi don was from out of a box instead of fresh uni (of course you have to accept the cost trade off). On the plus side, was pleasantly surprised with a "heart"-shaped sushi roll as I had indicated it was our anniversary when making our reservation. All-in-all, a well executed traditional Japanese meal that was more than good but unmemorable.

We celebrated a birthday at Hashida and had a great time there. The service was excellent and the cuisine was super yummy and exceptional! We will definitely return given the opportunity.

excellent sushi, favorite one was the flounder. the bar was served by a japanese sushi chef with old school wood panelling, service staff in kimono was really attentive, great ambience! will be back again

Pricey, but exquisite and definitely up there with the very best sushi restaurants in Tokyo. Probably the best sushi experience one can have in Singapore.

The staff were very attentive. The food was delicious. They knew it was our anniversary and made heart shaped macaroons for us and gave us a card. Very thoughtful.

Chef Hitoshi was in charged for our group and he took us through a culinary adventure leaving us wanting for more. The pace was just right, and quality of the food was superb. Although it's not cheap, but I find it every dollar well spent.

Good ingredients made better. Everything was without much fuss. Simple good fresh food celebrated. The knife handling skills of chefs there are therapeutic to watch.

Food was amazing - appetiser (toufu skin with ikura and chawamushi with asparagus and scallop) was delicious, sushi were fresh and Japanese fruits for dessert were juicy and naturally sweet. The chef was friendly and educated us about the different fishes of the sushi we had. Staff was polite and friendly. As it was my husband's birthday, they prepared a pair of heart shaped macarons and a birthday card. It was a very thoughtful gesture.

It was a birthday celebration, after booking, the staff called me to confirm the reservation as well as inquire about the birthday person's name. At the restaurant, the food was wonderful (as usual), the staff were friendly and prompt to change tea, clear plates etc. Very efficient and unobtrusive service, as the service level should be. There were complimentary stuff as it was to celebrate a birthday, comes with a beautiful handwritten card. It's pricey, but you get what you paid for. :)

Food was excellent. Very fresh and as usual, impressive. Nice ambience and attentive service. Make one feels like it's home. Except that the food wasn't quite enough. I still feel hungry after the meal. Perhaps dinner is more worth it as I remember dinner was filling.

Fabulous sushi, wonderful ambience and great service. Master chef hashida was very friendly and keen to explain to us his preparation of his sushi. Definitely will come back for more wonderful sushi.

Had the Ayame omakase set lunch with Sato-san. The food was great, and the service was impeccable... We got the kaya monaka for dessert, but I think the sweet, cake-like consistency tamago that they had served could have been a better finishing touch to the amazing lunch :)

Excellent service and definitely one of the top Japanese restaurants to splurge on if u are a fan of sushi. Perfect sushi rice, with beautifully smoked or cured fish and the freshest raw fish ever. Chefs are very friendly and share with you orgins of the produce and showcase them to u.

First time in Hashida Sushi Singapore and it was amazing! The price for the omakase set lunch was reasonable and the food was delicious! top notch service!

No need to fly to japan to have a good sushi, hashida sushi is one of the best omakase in town! Love it, is highly recommended!

Service is undoubtedly great. But food is really overrated. Fish quality is not as good as expected. Too much rice in the set lunch .

Good sushi but definitely too expensive for what it is. It's just the Singapore thing. Beer is sgd 22++ . 2 lunch sets with 2 beers ended up with sgd 340

Absolutely superb food, well crafted and well presented (I don't even need to mention "fresh"). Chefs, including Chef Hatch, are very engaging and the entire meal is more than just food. The selection of sake's is very good and the restaurant will allow one to taste a few depending on preferences.

love the amazing fresh sushis created by the chefs. everything was so on point I enjoyed it to the fullest! the chutoro that was served to me melted in my mouth the moment I had them. SO GOOD. oh and the uni, nothing beats hokkaido uni. it's also more worth to try their most expensive set. will be back :)

When i had dinner 2 years ago at hashida sushi, the food was really up to the price... But this time i think the ingredient is not as good as before. Some sushi tasted not fresh anymore

The chefs were attentive, fun & very hospitable, always ready to engage the customers. The tuna was amazingly fresh & fatty, same for the uni. The selection of sake and wine is extensive.

Cosy restaurant and Service was excellent!! I went for the $120 Omakase, the quality of the fish was good. Food served was good value for the price. Was a little disappointed that the dessert was fruits. Overall a good visit and I will likely go back again.

This is the best Omakase in Singapore. I have been to Aoki, Ginza, Shinji, Waku Ghin, and Kaiseki in the past 4 weeks. It is hard to compare restaurants but Hashida Sushi is hard to beat. Tasty, esoteric, generous & simply awesome. This is the place to go.

Top quality sushi and dining experience. The freshness of the seafood and the sushi rice cooked and maintained at the right temperature are simply amazing. Will certainly return for more.
