Lovely ambience. The Oktoberfest beer was great, and the pork knuckle was perfectly cooked with crispy skin.

A great place for German fare in a nice pseudo-alfresco setting. Generous portions are served here. Have to confess that a main plus a pork knuckle is far too much food for 2 people. The staff here are professional and polite, leaving you satiated and satisfied with the whole experience!

Great service and recommendations by staff! Enjoyed ourselves here! They even gave us a complimentary delicious chocolate cake for our anniversary as a surprise! ^^ Set lunch is a good deal, recommend the Camembert and grilled chicken!

Came here for their weekday lunch set. The appetisers were good, but mains were a little lacking. Ordered the lentils stew and was quite shocked to see a dry bowl of cooked beans with noodles instead. Perhaps other dishes would be better.

Frieda has an al fresco style ambience that's in the comfort of aircon. Although the German food here is on the pricey side, portions are good so it's worth your buck. Didn't have space for desserts but will definitely come back for tea time in the future! Pity that the higher level was closed (probably Covid restrictions)

The menu mistakenly translated Backhendl as baked chicken instead of breaded fried chicken. That was an unforgivable mistake as it is supposed to be a German restaurant. The waiter Shree was very apologetic and did a masterful service recovery. I want to congratulate the establishment on empowering staff to do that. Will come back to try the rest of the menu. Place was beautiful and quiet and they adhered to the social distancing protocol religiously.

Worst schnitzel I ever had. Paper thin meat that is thinner than the batter. Batter is not at all crispy. Cucumber potato salad has almost no cucumber and is tasteless. Very small portion for $37. Definitely not going back.

Good deal for alcohol from 5 pm onwards. Had some snacks to go with it as well.
